comments Old fashioned very well maintained building and spacious bedrooms decorated with real wood furniture, new carpets with bathroom. I particularly loved the stairway architecture, although the hotel is provided with a modern lift.Very friendly staff, exceptional location close to disco clubs and other facilities that you just walk. Attractive rates. I am already booked for next july 23rd, bringing some friends over.

comments The hotel was lovely, the room was great and the staff were v helpful. The only downside was our room overlooked a noisy bar and some sort of recycling centre, so it was v loud on one of the nights and we were woken by the sound of lots of smashing glass.

comments firstly the kettle in room was not working , and when handed into reception no effort to replace it was made . secondly the room window was unable to be clossed which ment a lot of noise throughout the night from outside , i booked a double room but got two single beds together instead . , breakfast was dead on though,

comments the accommodation was clean and the reception staff very helpful. There was only one bath towel & no tolietries however the staff did provide it when drawn to their attenntion. Thank you it was only a breif stopover but very welcome clean and tidy

comments I enjoyed my stay immensely. rooms were clean, the location is excellent and the price could'nt be beat. Reception were friendly and arranged to mind my bag while i went into the city.

comments A nice room, good standard and we are satisfied with the cleaning. Rather near the center of the city. We meet many kindly people. We are very pleased with the stay in Dublin and Camden de luxe hotel

comments A converted Theatre,entrance is a bright shopfront to one side of the poolhall cage bars that roll back at night. Rooms with stars on doors and names, mine Sinead Cusack, with pictures - enrapture - are spacious and airy. Lots of nearby eateries and near to Stephen's Green/Grafton Street.

comments I stayed at Avalon House last time and expected something similar. The Camden De Luxe however is a 'proper' hotel. The rooms are very clean and the Hotel is very close to some cool party locations (The Village, Wheelans, Flannery's) and some nice cafés and breakfast places.

comments Im booking a night again this weekend, this will be the third time ive stayed in this hotel, it has a great central location, I find the rooms are fine the only thing i would prefer is if the check out tim was a little later 11 is a little early

comments Would highly reccomend!! Hotel has recently been renovated to a good standard and rooms were clean!! Was pleasantly surprised to find decent accomodation so close to the city centre!!

comments Hotel is very shabby in appearance. I had the misfortune of having to endure some very rowdy people in the rooms across from me for two nights. this of course is not the fault of the hotel management or staff but feel that the problem was worsened by very thin walls and the fact that all doors slam closed. When asked on checkout how my stay was and raised these comments the person in reception was offhand saying that they were unaware of any problems the previous nights. I surely was not the only person affected by the noisy guests and it does not take much for them to apologise and hope our stay was pleasant aside from this. I felt other hotels would have offered some kind of compensation so that my opinion of the hotel was not tarnished. I would only stay in this hotel again if there was a very special offer on a room rate.

comments The room was comfortable and the hotel was an ideal location for shopping/sightseeing. the only downside was that the dining room to the hotel was actually the cafe next door so rather than having a quiet breakfast we were sharing the room with anyone. It was OK but not what we were expecting from the description, that said we would definately use the hotel again.

comments When i first saw the hotel from the outside i was a little concerned because all you can see is a door. However, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was just what we needed. It's not the Ritz, but the bed linen, carpet and bathroom were all clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. They also put our party in rooms beside each other which was a nice touch, as most hotels I have ever stayed in don't. I couldn't fault it for the price and the cafe next door serves a cracking fried breakfast.

comments rooms were clean and ample space. night club and bar in the hotel wasnt for our age group, more for teeny boppers. Average age of clubbers was 20. shame you always get the idiots that think they are Rambo and charge up and down the corridors when drunk at 5am, other than that a reasonable hotel for the price you pay, staff very helpful.

comments The hotel is located in an ethnically diverse area, about a 10 minute walk from downtown - a former theater. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms clean. I'd definitely recommend it.
