comments Car parking for unloading was very difficult but porter was very helpful. Room small but well appointed. Staff v pleasant and food good. As it was a Sunday the restaurant was closed but the food served in the bar was a good standard as was breakfast.

comments This was an excellant location to be able to get around. you could walk to most areas and the staff was very helpful. You could literally walk out the door, turn right and cross the street and you were at the archeological museum.

comments The shuttle from Dublin airport dropped us off directly across from the hotel. Our room was ready at 10a.m. and the staff was wonderful. The hotel is quaint but has a wonderful restaurant, bar, and sitting lounge to read the paper. Fantastic place for the price.

comments The location of this hotel was perfect for us. Close to shopping, dining, buses, train. Close enough to Temple Bar to walk there, but far enough away from the noise etc. The room was comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The first room we were given was very small, but we were able to move to a bigger room. All in all, it was a great place. I would return and recommend.

comments Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and pleasant decor and the bathrooms are a good size. Staff are helpful, obliging, friendly and efficient. Hotel is in an excellent location to see galleries etc. and 15 minute walk to main shopping precinct. We would stay again.

comments This was an excellent, classy hotel in a phenomenal location only 2 blocks from Trinity College and St. Stephen's Green. The staff was helpful and courteous--staying here gave us an old-time personalized experience that we couldn't have gotten at a larger hotel or a chain.

comments The hotel is very well located in relation to central Dublin attractions. The dining room is pleasant and all the staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent during our stay. Bedrooms can be very small, and those on the back have a poor outlook. The hotel does not look attractive from the Kildare St corner but is fine when going hrough the main entrance on Molesworth St. As with all Dublin hotels, it is expensive for what it is.

comments Buswells front desk, bar and baggage/assistance desk staff provided excellent service to my group. All were pleasent, provided helpful answers to our inquires and all seemed very happy to be working at Buswells. The bar & restrurant food and drinks we had tasted good and the prices were very reasonable. I will stay again at Buswells next time I come to Dublin!

comments the hotel was very conveinent to the city shopping area,it was also well situated to the gallerys around merrion square.the rooms were very warm at night no air conditioning but apart from this we would stay at buswells again.staff were very nice and friendly, food is a bit pricey but good.

comments A lovely hotel in the heart of Dublin with staff that are friendly and extremely helpful - they even had a re-charge jack for my mobile phone! The food at the bar was tasty and reasonable and the muffins at breakfast were to die for. The rooms were clean, but do take seriously the note on the shower wall to allow time for hot water - it took nearly 10 minutes for the water to finally become warm - so turn it on and busy yourself with other things for a while! Would stay there again without question!

comments the pluses for this hotel were that it is super convenient for town and work. the staff were really helpful and flexible. the negatives were that i had a room at front of hotel which was very noisy. the breakfast was a disappointment in terms of quality. the breakfast room was not very busy but the cooked breakfast was burnt.

comments Delightful, clean, and quiet. The hotel is within walking distance to everything. We needed to get to a concert at the O2 and the staff was very helpful with instructions on how, where and when to catch the shuttle. I would recommend this hotel.

comments The hotel is extremely well situated, but in a queit steet. The Airport bus stops within yards, so no taxi is required. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast generous and of excellent quality. It may not have the sports facilities of the nearby Shelbourne, but it is half the price and for a cicy centre stay at a reasonable price, look no further.

comments Lovely, "old world" hotel with great atmosphere and helpful staff. They cheerfully switched my room when I told them the one on the street was too noisy for me; the kitchen staff put my hot pack in the microwave on request each morning; they changed my dollar travelers checks; the concierge had great suggestions. The location was PRIME, right across from the National Museum and 5 minutes from Grafton Street, but still very quiet (I just need a quieter room than most). All in all, a delightful stay!

comments The staff of Buswell's, from desk to dining, were uniformly kind and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone who wants to visit major places like Trinity College, St. Patrick's or Christ Church but who would also enjoy delightful walks on Grafton Street and Templebar. I would certainly choose Buswells on a future visit.

comments Very satisfied, once they had moved us to better rooms after the first night. I had reserved a long time ago and was disappointed to be given rooms (2 rooms) which had a view of someone's big airconditioning units and a wall only a few feet away, and a rather crassy roof of another house. But they were very polite and as soon as the rooms became available, they changed them.

comments In terms of size it was a good size, it was clean etc. The room was at the front of the hotel close to the front entence. As we arrived on the Bank Holiday Monday we didn't realise that there would be so much traffic noise in the morning. Also had a noisy lot hanging around the front after some sort of event. Would have been better if we were asked if we wanted that location or another room (even if it was smaller.)

comments Buswell's is located in the centre of Dublin with excellent access to all amenties. Comfortable, cosy with a good bar and lounge area, food is general fare but nicely prepared and served by very courteous staff. Rooms vary in size but are quiet and clean, and were you can relax. Good place to stay and I particularly like the restaurant were breakfast and lunch are served with plenty of room between tables giving people some privacy.

comments First stayed at Buswells in 1972; returned 2007 and again just now. Most conveniently located, most friendly staff. A hotel of character, so greatly to be valued these days.

comments Friendly Staff, Comfortable room and well stocked bar. Recommend the restaurant if you fancy posh nosh. If you like a quiet night I suggest that you ask for a room that does not face the road, the traffic can be quite noisy through the night. All in all a great hotel.

comments Excellent location for Dublin centre and surprisingly quiet at night. Rooms were small but clean and with usual facilities. Staff were helpful. For info a taxi to the airport cost us about 30 euros, we caught the bus on the way in and had a bit of a trek from O'Connell Street.

comments My only comment would be tho extend the breakfast time to 11am on a Sunday morning as we felt rushed to get up and be down for breakfast. After all it is Sunday!

comments I booked the hotel as part of our honeymmon - we are staying in all of the major capitals in Europe and this was our third stop and by far the best! We were upgraded to a suite and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is amazing if you want traditional georgian and in an excellent position. We will definately be back!

comments great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. Close enough to easily walk to everything but just slightly out of the way so it is quiet. No lift. Comfortable bar as well as tables in the lobby.
