comments Very nice stay, had lovely meal in The Brasserie great value , 3 courses for €25! Bedroom very comfortable & clean. Extremely pleasant staff on check in as we had plans to go to town for evening meal but stayed at hotel on recommendation of receptionist . On check out next day A gentleman named Igor had plenty of time to chat to us and because of this we felt as we left we would definitely be back as we were not just a number on a reservation list! Oh yes fantastic value 2 adults & 1 child for €60!! Harvey family Clare !

comments We, as a family, have stayed at Bewley's over the last 12+ years. When traveling to Dublin we rarely look past Bewley's as a place to stay. We have always been very happy with our stay. The facilities and staff have always been top notch. The small attention to details make the difference.

comments My wife and I stayed at Bewleys Hotel, Newlands Cross recently for a concert at a major Dublin venue. On arrival we were met by a most professional member of staff at reception and given our room number. The room was spacious, well laid out and of the highest calibre. Bewleys Hotel, Newlands Cross, was extremely well priced and its geographical location made it an ideal location for accessability to Dublin city centre and outlying shopping centres. The peacefulness at night gave it a country like feel rather than that of an urban setting. Breakfast was excellent the following morning, with a wide variety on offer I would have felt to suit all tastes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bewleys Hotel, Newlands Cross to anyone for an overnight stay or indeed for a midweek break or weekend away. With ample free car parking and friendly staff, Bewleys Hotel, Newlands Cross, ticked all the boxes and I will definitely be staying there again in the future.

comments This is my third year at this hotel. Bedroom as always was very comfortable. My only issue is the road traffic noise which was very evident. Breakfast was excellent and bar food was the same. Great to see the barman Ray still works there. I would deffinately stay here again.

comments As I was running the Dublin marathon the day after my stay I just want to thank the person at Reception who changed me to a quiter room without a problem and to the chef who cooked me a pasta dish specially. As a result ran a 3.35 marathon. Will return without a doubt!! Seamus .

comments Two words describe my stay. First class! From the Reception staff, bar/restaurant staff to the housekeeping staff, all were very polite and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable and the same goes for the rest of the hotel. Perhaps what says the most is that this is the fourth time I've stayed at this hotel and will not hesitate to do so again.

comments We had a two night stay at the end of August which was thoroughly enjoyable. The room was quite large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially in the bar when serving food which was delicious. Highly recommended.

comments The hotel is perfectly situated for anyone travelling up from the South for an event in Dublin. When booking we were conveniently able to book a bus to and from the stadium which took the hassle out of arranging our way to and from the concert. This service is fantastic and well worth €10 per person. When we got back from the concert sandwiches were available for purchase in the residents lounge and there were also vending machines for snacks. All in all - if I go to another convert in Dublin, I'm definately staying at Bewleys again and will be telling my friends to do the same

Staff were both friendly and efficient, though the fact that bar staff had to take orders for food and do the bar made it difficult to to get swift bar service especially in a crowded situation. I was particularly impressed and delighted to learn that the hotel did noe increase prices, given that many were there to attend the Neil Diamond Concert. It was great to have transport arranged by the hotel to the Concert and at a reasonable rate as well. All in all a very enjoyable and positive experience. Hope to be back there again for couple of nights towards the end of the month.

comments We got married the day before in England and we had just arrived into Ireland from the ferry. We were extremely tired and not feeling great! When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff at reception. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate at your restaurant and we were given a lovely table in the corner away from everyone else as it was the first night of our honeymoon. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. Front desk staff members were very easy to work with and their knowledge and willingness to help were outstanding. comments Very friendly staff made us very welcome from start to finish off our stay. I needed to print tickets form ticket master for the concert we were attending which we forgot to bring as the hotel imternet kiosk was out off order the staff at reception let us use their computer to print our tickets. Their evening dinner which was part off our night stay was excellent and prompt service too. All in all it was q enjoyable stay. Thanks from Deirdre & Paddy

The food in the Bar is top class and if you want a real relaxing meal you should try the Brasserie. The food there is sublime and the relaxed athmosphere is worth anything. We are really looking forward to our next stay at Bewleys.

comments My, husband, my 8 year old son and I stayed in family room 266 on the second floor. We were very satisfied with the hotel itself - the staff, facilities, room and the breakfast were all excellent. However, we were kept awake from 3 a.m onwards due to noisy neighbours who were at times arguing which was not nice for my son. I included this in the comment card left in the room.. WE were very disappointed with this as I had assumed that because we had booked a family room, we would then be in a family environment which would mean quiet neighbours, and that the hotel would manage guests in this regard. We had an early start the following morning and didn't get a chance to catch up on sleep.

comments We spent 2 nights in this hotel - very nice staff, but two small problems - on our return from a night out in the city - the card to the room wouldn't work! But your helpful staff sorted out this issue. Also in the restaurant - food very nice but VERY PRICY - one slice of brown toast 75p - in these recessionary times - one could buy a sliced pan for this price surely. But all in all very nice with great parking.

comments Very happy with my 1 night stay over at Bewleys NX. Receptionist Ciara greeted us, I had a minor query on booking online and Ciara explained the process thoroughly. The Room was spacious, everything on hand. The room matched the online description of the room. Very happy with staff and service. comments It was unfortunate that I stayed for New Year's Eve and was disturbed several times in the night by children running along the corridors, and loud adults enjoying themselves before going into their rooms. One particular small girl, looking to be about 4 years old was running, screaming along the corridor outside my room at 3am, and when I remonstrated with her father who was also there, clutching can of beer, he swore at me and came towards me in a threatening fashion. I know the hotel staff had tried their best to discipline guests, but when they book in in family groups, determined to enjoy themselves at any cost, and to use the hotel as a playground for their children, the staff have an impossible task. That aside the room was comfortable, and the staff excellent.

comments Cost effective with availability of room only rate to cater for 2 adults/ 3 children. Spacious bar and lounge area to wind down after a hard days shopping or sightseeing. Perfect location as regards access to M50 North/ Southbound and main Dublin - Cork/ Limerick Motorways. comments I think this hotel represents something often missing in Irish hotels, and that is value for money. I will stay here any time I am traveling to Dublin as it is so close and convenient for getting both to the city and the Airport. My only complaint is that the desserts in the hotel were a bit of a letdown, but I am a chocolatier and pastry chef so can be a bit fussy. Overall WELL DONE to all the staff at Bewley's Newlands Cross!

comments We (2 adults and 1 child) stayed here one week before christmas. we arrived late, around 8.30pm in the snow, and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who informed us she had put us in a quiet part of the hotel as there was a lot of christmas party nights there, which was much appreciated. The room itself consisted of a double bed, single bed and double pullout bed with plenty of spare bedding & pillows. The breakfast the next morning was superb. I really couldn't find fault with anything in this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

comments We have stayed in most of the Bewleys hotels on various occasions. This was our 4th or 5th stay at Newlands Cross. It was our most dissapointing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially at reception. Our family room was spacios and clean enough. We had arrived late and went to the bar for a drink. There was a rowdy rough crowd already in the bar and we felt intimidated so we left without having a drink. These people were wandering around the corridors of the hotel so we felt insecure the whole time we were there. (So much for treating ourselves to a nice stay in a hotel for Christmas followed by a days shopping in our capital) The remote control on the tv was antique and didnt always work. We woke early the next morning as we had an early start. Unfortunately we had a bad start when the shower didnt work. My husband who is a plumber couldnt get it started. We decided then to was our hair under the tap in the bath as we didnt have time for all of us to take a bath. We were surprised to find that the room didnt have any toiletries so we gave up on that idea as well. We had breakfast in the hotel which was €30+ for 2 adults and 1 child which is quite expensive. All in all 1 overnight stay for 2 adults and 1 child cost over €100 incl breakfast. As a lot of hotels have great offers on at the moment we were sorry that we hadnt booked elsewhere. I would probably stay at some of Bewleys hotels again but will never go back to Newlands Cross.

comments I found my stay very pleasant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I had a problem with the kettle in my room and it was rectified immediately. I used the lounge for bar food in the evening and found the atmosphere excellent and the food good. The room was well prepared for my stay and comfortable. If I had anything to say re improvements it would be in the area of your environmental policy. The only reference was to the strength of water flow for the shower which actually didn't work and if it did it was too high up to adjust - for a medium hight woman! There was no policy re choice of whether to change towels or not. And, the button on the toilet for conserving the amount of water used did not work. I would suggest a review of your environmental policy and a review of how well it is working in relation to the measures you have put in place to protect the enviroment. I use your restaurant frequently when traveling to Dublin and always find your food and staff excellent. Well done.

comments Really enjoyed my stay, on arrival I asked if I could be put in a quiet room off the main road as I am a light sleeper and my request was dealt with straight away. I got one of the new rooms in the new extension and it was really nice, clean and comfortable. Really good value for €59. I didn't include breakfast as I wouldn't be a big breakfast person but was happy to be able to purchase tea & toast no problem. Will defo be coming back again as it was great value for a weekend coming up to do some shopping.

We had a most relaxing time and our accommodation, evening meal and breakfast was first class. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We will definitely stay in this Hotel again. comments I really enjoyed my stay in Bewleys. My friends and I found the staff very friendly and helpful. We were attenting a convention and the hotel organized packed lunches for the delagets and had it all realy very early in the morning for us. The food was very nice. The rooms were clean and pleasant and we all slept quite well. What made the stay so nice was the staff. It was one of the best experiences I've had staying at a hotel.

comments We had a fantastic stay, staff were very helpful. Room 105 is a bit noisy because its close to the lift, but the reception moved us straight away on request. Would stay here again if in Dublin. No driving for hours trying to get there, and the luas is 5 mins away for a trip into the city centre. So no trouble with peak time traffic.

The rooms are great value and the staff are very accomodating everytime we stay. I would definately say stay here when you're in Dublin. There's loads of ways into the centre...Bus, Luas and drive.

We were on the B&B plan and found the rate to be of good value; the breakfasts were of good quality and quantity (at least by our North American standards).

Your staff couldn't have been more helpful regarding direstions to the hospital, they printed these out for us, and how long we would have to leave in the traffic to get there. comments Linens were crisp and extra towels to hand within room. The bathroom was sparkling. There is just a short walk to meals on the other side of the hotel. We were out of bottled water and discovered that the tap water was excellent for drinking and for use in the tea/coffee making facilities in-room. There is extraordinary value in the pleasantness of all staff and superb quality of the restaurant food. Five stars for a three star price.

comments We recently stayed at Bewleys Newlands Cross for 2 nights. Location wise it worked out perfectly for us as we were able to drive the short spin to the luas park and ride and travel into the city from there. The rooms were more than adequate. We required a travel cot which was brought up to our room less than ten mins after our arrival. We had rooms to the front of the hotel but did not hear any noise from the main road in front of the hotel. There are 2 types of family rooms, some are at the carpark end of the hotel, these were not as spacious but we were lucky. We also took the b&b rate rather than buying the breakfast on the morning. On the b&b rate you get a full irish breakfast, 2 items from the cold buffet and toast tea/coffee. Much better value than buying all these items separately. When you travel with children these items can prove expensive. We were delighted with our stay. The staff were very friendly. We kept baby bottles in the restaurant fridges and collected them each day. No problems at all. Definitely would stay at Bewleys again

comments Prices for B&B plus dinner were excellent. I feel that prices must be kept as low as possible to encourage tourists. You seem to be aware of this as all other hotels around were dearer than yours. The tourist board should be doing more in the way of offering concessions through the hotels just like tax relief when purchasing goods are given concessions when leaving the country. So too with tourists. Some incentive should be offered when staying in hotels.My American friends enjoyed their stay and particularly the dinner offer as a freebe. I booked your hotel for them on that grounds of a free dinner. But the tourists board should be more proactive in cooperating with the hotels. My friends payed €55 + €20 at a B&B in Kerry. comments My recent stay at Bewleys Hotel Newlands Cross was very satisfactory.The convenience and ease of access to the city center is a big plus .While my visit necessitated wheel chair access / facilities this was not a problem and was easily looked after by the hotel. Overall the staff and services were such that I would have no hesitation in staying here again in the future.

comments We had a very comfortable stay at your hotel. We were very happy with the fact that the kids were able to stay in our company while myself and my husband had a few drinks in the bar also. We were going to see Kenny Rogers in th O2, we had our meal before we left ,it was a beautiful meal and overall we had a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed breakfast before we checked out. We went back on the Saturday night for the 4 course dinner for 25 euro, again excellent food, excellent value for money. Reception staff were efficient and very pleasant. comments Over that past few years we have stayed in Bewleys Hotel in Newlands Cross on numerous occassions and again it did'nt dissapoint. The bedroom was roomy and clean as was the bathroom. In our booking we requested a quiet non smoking room and even though we know these requests cannot be guaranteed we got both. Excelllent staff on reception, in the bar and at breakfast in the restaurant. And as usual the Bewley's breakfast was excellent. We'll be staying again.

comments I'm a regular visitor to Bewley's Newlands Cross, the reason being location and comfort. The staff are always pleasant, the bedrooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfasts are exactly what you want in the morning. I'll continue using Bewley's into the future.

comments Hotel was very clean, atmosphere in bar was nice and the staff were all courteous. The water supply was turned off on the Friday morning but came back on after 8.00. I undertsand that Dublin City Council were working on the mains and this was explained to guests at reception.Overall a pleasant stay.

comments we stay in bewleys newland cross 4 - 5 times per year we find the hotel to meet our needs and that staff are polite and helpful given that we stay so regularily we have probably stayed in quite a few of the rooms which are always clean and comfortable there are always a lot of guests and the faciliteis are always busy but able to cope we certainly will be staying again and again

comments Our family of five stayed in three Bewley's Hotels in Dublin. In all the rooms were consistently functional with space for up to 5 people, beds were very comfortable, and facilities were good for short stay - breakfast buffet was excellent, bar was cozy, service was friendly and efficient. Prices are unbeatable. Parking is extra in the Airport and Ballsbridge. Bewley's does NOT provide any bathroom extras, making the granite counters look very bare. Shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated.

comments The room was spacious and very clean.  We availed of the early bird menu in the restaurant and it was great value and very high standard.  The waitress was very helpful.  We also had breakfast in the hotel and again this was great. The price of the room was €59 which was excellent.
