The staff were very helpful and service at breakfast and in the bar was good. Food really nice. Rooms are adequate with good tv as we wanted to relax in the evenings. Shower could be a bit harder.

Our stay was part of a special offer for 2 night with an evening meal. The options on the menu for the evening meal were somewhat restricted in terms of choice but the food itself was good. The room was spacious and an excellent size for a family room. I would suggest that the interior decor be updated as the current decor makes the hotel look and feel somewhat dated. I would stay there again as the hotel is ideally located with access to the Luas tram station for access in and out of Dublin city centre and with the pool to keep the kids amused. All in all value for money hotel that is very clean and a good family option.

The hotel was lovely and the leisure facilities were very good. However, we were only given two cups and two towels between the three of us, both days which meant we had to ask for extras. Also, there was not enough tea, coffee and (especially) milk for all of us! And we were given some milk that was months past its use by date. The staff were very friendly and helpful though, and I would be happy to stay at the hotel again.

The hotel had everything I wanted, the staff were very friendly. The leisure centre was very nice, the beauty treatment was excellent and the girls very friendly. The only downside was the starters at dinner were very slow to arrive, but when they did they were very tasty, but we had to eat dinner very quickly as we had plans for the evening. We had 2 non smoking rooms booked but ours ended being smoking as we couuld smell the smoke in the room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I found the reception staff abrupt to the point of rude, and quite unhelpful. The use of please and thank you would have been nice, "may I help you" would not have gone amiss. The worst Best Western I have ever visited.

We had 3 children with us and they couldn't sleep due to the music in the bar being so loud.

They aparently have a long time problem with showers that don't work right. Due to Hot and cold being mixed up on some thermostatic controlled showers. Very sloppy.

It was an enjoyable visit, and while the hotel itself is not in the center of town, transportation to and from was easy with the LUAS rail system.

Restaurant closes at 21:45, which I think is a little early. Housekeeping like to knock on your door, even if you have the "do not disturb" sign up. Its location is not good if you actually want to see Dublin centre, it is 30 minutes in a taxi; but perfect if you are working in the industrial area surrounding. On the plus side the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and warm, and the breakfast is good. Overall not a bad hotel for the price, well put it this way, I have returned more than once.

Breakfast was poor with a poor choice of cereals (e.g. no muesli and remainder all sugar coated) and other items (yoghurts, partries) running out by 8:30 am. When we asked we were told that's all there is. The staff were rushing about all stressed and making a fuss.

I only had one night at the Sheldon Hotel but found everything very good espescially the staff in reception, the bar and the restaurant. As I did not pay agreat deal for my night I was very pleasantly surprised.

There was no air conditioning. Also, on weekends, there are usually weddings and the like which means there is loud music. The hotel did not consider putting the non-wedding guests in the part of the hotel away from the music. We were such victims. Consequently, we cut our stay short and moved to somewhere else that was much quieter.

Ideally situated as it is close to motorway and very convenient for LUAS into Dublin. Pity we were not told that the restaurant would be closed until 8.30pm because of a wedding reception.
