We found the Ashling Hotel to be a very good choice. It was immaculate, the customer service was excellent, and it was close to the train station which made it convenient for tours.

A friend and I stayed in the Ashling at the beginning of August for 3 nights. It's proximity to the train station, Phoenix Park and the city centre makes it an ideal location. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. The room was beautifully appointed and the beds were really comfy. The food was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a really good place to stay then you've just found it.

My stay was excellant, the beds comfortable, and food very good, My only concern was the heated towel rail was infront of the sink which I felt was dangerous if it did not have the towels on it and the water was hot, It could burn particularly a small child cleaning its teeth,

Original room booked was too small, very warm and without air conditioning. On upgrading to a better room, was completely satisfied... could not have asked for better.

booked dinner in restaurant, beautiful surroundings, but slow service. 2 adults, 3 children (7,5, 2yrs).Given childrens menu, and decided that on a choice that would suit them, and ordered; but what the waitress failed to mentioned was that one meal was big enough for the three of them!! beautiful meal for kids, but sinful the amount that went back to kitchen, an adult would have struggled with the amount of food. as for our meals, staters lovely, but service slow and disjointed, my steak was rare, not medium rare as ordered, but in fairness, mananger acknowledged this, an our wine was complimentary.
room slightly small, but adequate. would recommend this hotel again, and would stay again. perfect hotel if depending on public transport.

I think when guests arrive more should be done by way of encourageing guests to upgrade the room,While I have no complaints about accomodation I feel I might have upgraded room if I was given the oppertunity to view rooms before bringing in luggage. This is only by way of a point to help I have no experience of selling hotel rooms do not take this as critisism as I realy enjoyed my time with you the food was fantastic and staff very helpful. Thanks again.

I always research the internet for reviews when I book a hotel and the Aisling got very good reviews. We were not disappointed with the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room was huge. The shower head is one of these square modern ones that gives a good drenching. Decor was a bit different, lots of black, pink and purple in the foyer but it kinda of worked. Kids loved going on the tram and we found it a very easy walk to Dublin City Center but we love walking. Very good value and would recommend the hotel

i stayed on Saturday 24 June 09 & was impressed by the standard of accomodation. the rooms have been recently refurbished & were clean and well presented. Driving directions could be clearer - ie. driving towards O'Connel Street on the Quays from Hueston train station, take the 1st left as the Aishling is close to Hueston and visible from the Quays.

The hotel had good breakfast and it was nice and clean with friendly staff. It is located close to the Guinness brewery and the Phoenix Park and in walking distance of a major bus and train station. We would stay there again.
