We always find a very welcoming staff.The hotel is centrally situated making all areas accessible and the city tour bus leaves right outside the front door.My son and new daughter-in-law were well pleased with their stay in Dublin and really appreciated the nightly show in the hotel.Lisa is from Canada and this was her first visit to Ireland.I would highly recommend the Arlington and we wouldn't stay anywhere else.	report this review as inappropriate

were wakened by a Guinness delivery lorry unloading kegs which was extremely noise just under our window! Everything else was really good.	report this review as inappropriate

The hotel badly needs to be upgraded the rooms are dark and dismal and in our case cold, not only was the radiator not working the hair dryer, table lamp and trouser press were in the same condition. The stair carpet was badly frayed and dangerous, particularly on the corner stairs. The staff could not be faulted in any way, very courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Come Arlington get your finger out you have prime position there and should be making the most of it.	report this review as inappropriate

For a hotel situated right in the centre of the city it was good value for money and as a bonus, the airport bus stop was only just around the corner. The staff were very polite and helpful and as we had one of the refurbished rooms, it was very clean and comfortable. The noise level outside the hotel was as expected quite loud up to about midnight, however this was not unduly annoying. The bar was very crowded (vibrant I think they call it). Room okay, but some problems with maintenance. No batteries in remote control, and none supplied when requested. Also W.C. cistern not filling properly. Not sure why booking required request for vegetarian breakfast when breakfast was a buffet.	report this review as inappropriate

We arrived at 10a.m. rather weary, to be told by receptionist that the room would not be vacated till 12 at the earliest but we could keep trying before then. We had espected to be able to settle in, but there was no apology or "I'm sorry but"......Our mood was only improved by the friendly offer of a cup of coffee by the head of the restaurant (Carmel). Generally I found the reception staff rather unwelcoming, unhelpful and often having conversations on the phone or with each other while we waited. The restaurant staff by contrast could not do enough to be friendly and helpful. That is my only adverse comment.	report this review as inappropriate

The hotel is a little dated but if u are looking for a central location this is ideal value. Great irish dancing show every night free aswell. Most relaxing atmosphere in Dublin. Big Screen too.	report this review as inappropriate

Nice hotel in the city centre near O'Connel bridge, when I was looking for it, first time I missed it because I expected it to be a little bit further and did not expected pub to be connected to entrance. No view from the window. Wide bed-for 3 persons ;-) but i was alone :'-(. Good breakfast. Recomended.	report this review as inappropriate

Fantastic. There was 9 of us in our party and everybody enjoyed their stay in the Arlington Hotel. The Arlington has everything you need for a short or long stay in Dublin. Rooms are spacious, clean and room service was first class. Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. Food was exellent, especially breakfast. For entertainment and social company you do not need to step outside the hotel. Finally, location is the best in Dublin. I will definately stay in the Arlington Hotel again when I visit Dubli.	report this review as inappropriate
