comments Ideally situated, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff are welcoming. We requested a quiet room so ended up on the 5th floor (no lift) - next time I will request a lower floor. A nightclub about 100 metres away meant that there was excessive noise at about 4 am (closing time I guess) each night which lasted about half an hour, but to be fair is unavoidable so close to the City Centre. The breakfast was lovely - lots of it, and big bowls of fresh fruit salads, breads and pastries, local cheeses. We will definitely return there in the future.

comments I was able to hear the toilet being flushed and the shower being used from the room above as the water pipe came down the wall of my room that was adjacent to my head. On the second night there was a continual sound of running water possibly from somebody leaving the tap on or an overflow. Basically it was a very noisy bedroom. This was the second time that I have stayed at the Albany, and the second time that I have been allocated that room. Room 31. The breakfasts are great. The room is clean and tidy. Everything else about the hotel is great. But the noise in that room is a real nuisance.

comments I really enjoyed my stay at Albany House Guesthouse. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. Dining Room staff went out of their way to make sure guests were very well catered for. Cleaning staff were pleasant and very thorough. The house was an architect's delight and the location was perfect. I would certainly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

comments Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine. The location is excellent, only a stone's throw away from St Stephen's green and Grafton Street. Also there is a direct airport coach from Leeson Str and Trinity College which takes half an hour and is very comfortable and reliable and only costs Euo 7. My complaints are that there is no lift and also wireless internet coverage does not extend to every room. I will go there again.

comments It's not cheap considering the facilities (no elevator, small room without bath). But good location.

comments An excellent hotel perfectly situated in the city and well priced. One could do much, much worse for the price. The only thing lacking was pleasant customer service and wireless connectivity on the top floors. I would stay here again.

comments It is situated very near to main attractions. The room was good but sometimes the central heating was extremely high and was not very pleasant. Breakfast very varied and healthy. It is not very common to find fruit in breakfast time. People from servicing sometimes are a little bit impatient to clean the room. Generally speaking my stay at Albany House was very pleasant.

comments we were three and we had two rooms. one room was quite big and with a modern bathroom but rather noisy since it was on the street. the other room was in the back and was quiet, but smaller and the bathroom was not comfortable.

comments Ask for a quiet room or you will be awake all night listening to revellers until 3 or 4 in the morning. The breakfast there is wonderful. The people who work the desk, except for the one young man who helped me with my room, are a little on the unfriendly side. The rest of the staff - cleaning and breakfast - were lovely. Also, apparently discount international phone cards don't work on their phone lines. I found that out too late.

comments it was as described and what I expected. My room was on the 5th floor at the rear of the hotel overlookinig a street whre kids played - a bit of a struggle with the suitcase as there were no lifts - but I knew that when I booked. The room was very nice - georgian style furniture and had been renovated in recent times - every thing functioned. there are two really nice hotels set in behind Georgian facades within 100 metres a. They are both very nice and respectable establishments wuth a lot of the local after work crowd gathering there nightly it seemed and there was a bit of noise generated when they closed up aound 2am. I went to both hotels a couple of times and found them fine and certainly not rough. The breafast provided was continental i style in a nice smaller dining area at groung level ....plenty of cereal, fruits. cheeses and bread types, tea coffee etc..no complaints. I rated it a 4 because it is good value, has a bit of atmosphere about it, and a great location 50 metres from St Stephens Green and only 1 block to Dublin's main Mall in Grafton St.
