comments We stayed at the Abbott Lodge in January 09 and were very pleased. It was a central location which was fantastic, rooms were standard, small but clean. Staff very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic, kept asking if we would like more of anything which was nice. We would stay there again.

comments The day staff were extremely pleasant and helphelp, we couldn't have wished for better service. Hotel clean, breakfast and service was top class. One little comment, i am a smoker and a shelter over front day area would have been good, or a provision for smokers would have been good. Thank you.

comments the staff where very pleasant, rooms clean and the breakfast first class and freshly cooked, there is good safety access to the building and 24 hour cover on reception. we were able to leave our bags until later in the day in the sitting area. the guesthouse was close to the bus station and easy access to buses and attractions along with shops. would stay again

comments Close enough to the town center (walking distance). The room was very small and cramped but the people at the desk were extremely helpful and did more than necessary to assist us in finding a B&B for the next night in Northern Irland.

comments I found the Abbott Lodge Guesthouse to have a very friendly and warm atmosphere, exactly what you would expect from a Dublin guesthouse. The room was small but standards were high and well worth the money. For a traveller on a budget looking for good, affordable accomodation in Dublin the Abbott Lodge Guesthouse is very good value for money.

comments Breakfast is excellent. The room is fine if you just need somewhere to get your head down - nothing too fancy about them. Shower cubicle was tiny and the shower itself was very noisy. Also the gap around the door to the room ensured that light spilled in all through the night.

comments curtain was hanging off rail, one of the beds was a wooden box, one of the feet was missing off of one of the beds. Was quite dingy. However, the sheets and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was excellent

comments We enjoyed our stay at Abbot Lodge. The receptionists were very friendly, even though they told us the wrong bus to get on! It would be helpful if they stated which bus to take to get to the hotel from the airport. I would say the biggest negative aspect about our stay were the beds. They were incredibly uncomfortable! The breakfast in the morning was nice and filling. The location was great and within walking distance of many attractions. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for short stays in Dublin.

comments The room was very small - just enough room to put two bags on the floor. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed. The reception person was minimally couteous and a (false) fire-alarm on the morning was not handled in a professional manner. Breakfats was basic but sevice was very polite. Overall, I will not recommened the Abbott Lodge considering the price and rating of the room.

comments The Abbot Lodge was a cute little B&B but there were a lot of stairs to walk up. If you have a lot of baggage I do not recommend staying here! The window in our room was also broken, so we couldn't prop it open (it was very hot in the room). The reception workers also were not very friendly. However, the Irish breakfast provided was amazing! This B&B is also in a great location in Dublin.

comments Overall would stay there again but room we got allocated was noisey on the front of the guest house, as it is located on a busy road. Would maybe request a room on the back of the house next time. However, the location was fine as not too far to walk from o'connell bridge (approx 10 mins) and temple bar (15 mins), but plenty of bars and shops on the way so no worries. Sometimes you need this walk to help sober you up!! Rooms very basic but clean. Breakfast wonderful just what you need after a night on the guinness! Staff very happy to help out with extra toast or maybe swapping bacon for sausages :-)

comments We stayed at Abbott Lodge in Dublin for 18 days. The location was very convenient for anything we wanted to do in or from Dublin. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and secure. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well-prepared and the generous portions made a great start to the day. Although no internet facilities are available to guests there are two good internet cafes very close by. We were pleased with our stay and thought the tarriff very reasonable.
