comments We stayed 2 nights in Hollyrood Hotel and found that overall it is a very good establishment, Great leisure centre, well equiped. Entertainment on both nights in the bar. Service very good and prompt. Very nice to see Brian Mc Eniff personally greeting the customers.

comments We didn't arrive at the hotel untill 8.45pm and had to wait for at least 15mins before we were able to check in as the reciptionst had gone off somewhere and the person minding the desk couldn't check anyone in. The resturant and bar attached to the hotel stopes serving food and 8.30 so we missed dinner there that night. The reciptionist did tell us about a place across the road so we got in there just in time as they even close at 9.30. The room we were in was small and the wall paper was coming of the walls. The bathroom, sorry I mean teh shower room, was tiny. You could hardly get you body between the sink and into the shower I had to leave the door of the shower open to have my shower, the told us, when we were checking out, that that side of the hotel was being knocked down as it has been like that for the last 15 years, but we will see. The only thing that saved this hotel was the chef as the food there was lovely. Breakfast was done very well even having breakfast in bed the food was still warm when it came to us so were very impreased with the chef. In my opinion if going to Donegal I wouldn't stay in Bundoran but if you have to stay in Bundoran I would stay somewhere else.

comments Staff were very friendly especially in the dining area and reception, food was excellent. Only problem was sleeping at night. I woke up on both nights and heard a lot of noise on the corridor. On the whole a very pleasant stay! I am returning at the end of October for a week because it was so beautiful there and very relaxing. The pleasant staff is a big attraction!
