comments Staff were very friendly. Food was very nice and reosonable priced. Dissapointed with the room small i mean very small. the walls very damp we asked for view never got one but the hotel was very busy so understand why we didn't get nice view. no were near 4 star hotel

comments A great place to stay: extremely comfortable and staff that make you feel welcome. The food is good, even for vegetarians. We're looking forward to returning soon.

comments Our stay at the Great Nothern Hotel was a very enjoyable experience. I found it very relaxing with great facilities, excellent food and very friendly staff. The kids club was a blessing, kept my 8 year old very happy. Both the Hotal and surrounding area was fantastic and we will definitely return in the summer of 2008.

comments We found the staff both friendly and helpful. The only criticism we had was with the lockers for the pool. Patrons should be made aware of the fact that the 1 euro charge is non-refundable and should they need to go to their locker before finishing their swim they will need to insert another euro to re-close it.

comments decor was very dated. for a four star hotel i was expecting a fancy room. small portable tv that didnt work properly. not good enough for the money that was paid.

comments Originally booked into incorrect room by reservations, very helpful reception staff organised a bigger room for the second night onwards. Very pleased with hotel, staff extremely nice and kids club a blessing. Very enjoyable stay despite the weather. Would definitely stay there again.

comments We really enjoyed our stay in the Great Northern hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and the food was very tasty. The hotel has a new leasure centre with a swimming pool, which we brought our baby into every day. The hotel was child friendly and had a play ground. The only fault i could make was that there was an annoying ticking noise coming from the roof of our room which seemed to start at night and comtinued all night.

comments Great food, friendly service in restaurant. An old hotel with dated decor, but still has a certain charm. Nice atmosphere. Good entertainment, and a lovely Golf course. Reception staff made a few booking mistakes for meals, and breakfast, and were slightly dismissive of the fact. Other than that, an enjoyable stay.

comments the hotel runs a good kids club, the leisure centre is only ok and the food in the restaurant is again ok, we didn't return to eat there on our second night. However it is clean and the staff are friendly and the hotel is very child friendly.
