From we arrived until we where leaving, the staff where all very pleasant and helpful. The Allingham has got re-decorated from our last stay. We would stay in the Allingham atleast 4-5times a year. The breakfast was unbelieveable eat as much as you want and it was all good.

We went for a weekend deal break from tyrone there were six of us altogether. At first not that impressed because the rooms were very cold but we talked to reception and they sent up heaters , which solved the problem . After that things were great staff were very helpful and the food was really good . The dinner on the sat nite was fantastic and we enjoyed the Jimmy Buckley concert after . Overall we all really liked our stay , not our usual thing as we are all under 30 but we will be back . Eddie

The room, food and entertainment were all very good. We were delighted with our seaview room. The only thing to stop me giving it a five was the customer service. I asked for extra pillows as my husband requres to have his head raised for his illness. They did not come so again rang reception after a two hour wait but they never arrived. I had to do without a pillow at all so he would be ok. We did get them from housekeeping the next day.

We had an enjoyable stay in the Allingham Arms Hotel. Staff were excellent, especially bar staff extremely helpful and friendly. Evening meal delicious, very high standard and service first class. The hotel rooms although clean are a bit 'tired' could do with a paint job. Good value for money. Great spot if you like country and western music, I'm not a great fan - enjoyed the entertainment in lounge on Friday evening and place was buzzing. We both enjoyed our stay, not sure I would go for just the Saturday evening music unless you enjoy c&w, in which case you will have a ball!

We had a really lovely time, the only thing we were not happy about is that both my husband and I are non smokers and we had a room which smelled of smoke, obviously from a previous resident. We opened the windows but had to close them soon afterwards as it was a cold February weekend and our room became very cold, very quickly.

We have stayed at your hotel on numerous ocassions over the past few years. This was probably the least attractive room we have ever stayed in at your hotel. We have always been given lovely rooms but this one was just ok. However, I have to say the staff, (especially Mel) the food and the entertainment were all great.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN EVENING MEAL. FILLET STEAK WAS LOVELY BUT VEG WAS MICROWAVED WITH A CRUST ON TOP AND NOT VERY HOT. BOTH MEAL MENU AND WINE LIST WERE FAR TOO PRICEY. HOWEVER, BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD.

kept awake until 2:30 am by loud music and when we told the girl the next morning she said we should have been told when we booked in that our room was above the ballroom which we were never told

I could not fault reception or the food. I did however book a late check out on my departure and was interuppted 4 times within those 2 hours, the last time by a particularly rude bedroom staff member on the phone who when i explained to her i had book a late check out retorted 'well its not my fault if reception dont tell us'. I was a bit shocked at her rudeness and tone of voice as I had in fact rang reception after the first interruption and they said they would tell the bedroom staff..I was really enjoying my stay but im afraid this left me unhappy with my experience.

To be honest a bit disappointed 1 the toilet in our room would not flush 2 I presumed staying in the hotel we would get free entry to see Jimmy Buckley even a reduced rate for residents i i could go with that and 3 when we got down to breakfast there was not a lot to choose from ok it was 9 45 but when we went to get the fry no fryed eggs to be found

staff very friendly. However, I had to pay at check in, even though I gave them credit card details. Also in coffee shop I had to pay when ordering my food. Does not leave the customer with much leverage if they have a complaint. Very limited choice at breakfast. If you dont want a cooked breakfast there is little alternative.
