comments We stayed in room 216 which was huge and had a great view. A very comfortable bed. I do feel that some of the finishings need to be retouched. There was a tear in the curtains and the toilet had some problems flushing. That said, this is my 3 time staying here and we will return.

comments we had a special mid week break at the maritime in jan 2012. we found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. the hotel itself is beautiful and we had a view all across the. i would gladly stay here again and recomend it to others

comments Very impressed with our stay in Maritime Hotel Bantry. We had excellent room with balcony and the breakfast was superb. Thought the Reception area was very dark but the bar was lovely and bright. Also the staff were really friendly and helpful.

comments We really enjoyed our stay in The Maritime Hotel Bantry just after Christmas. Very modern hotel. Luxurious bedrooms. Excellent Leisure Centre. Restaurant very good. Staff were very friendly and most helpful. Excellent value. We hope to go back again.

comments Only stayed here for the one night for my birthday and was really pleased with my choice. My initial error (booking a twin room) was soon rectified with an email. The room was lovely and clean, comfortable bed and the facilities looked great. Toiletries were provided which was helpful. Both of us enjoyed the breakfast where there was much to choose from. Lovely views over the bay in the morning. Would definitely recommend and use the hotel again

comments I was expecting the excellent West Cork hospitality which didn't disappoint but was pleasantly surprised by the standard of accomodation. I would definately recommend and revisit the Maritime Hotel Bantry.

comments The hotel was really nice. Rooms very comfortable and the staff were excellent. Couldnt of done more for us. The pool, sauna and facilities were excellent. Will definelty return for another visit.

comments The staff were most welcoming , in reception. Was given a lovely room as requested with bay view. Room and en suite very high standard in design, colour, and cleanliness. Food lovely, and entertainment on the night. Really enjoyed our stay as always at a very good rate (special offer). We have stayed with you many times and have always found it to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, both in ireland and europe.

comments it was one of the many times we stayed in the maritime and as usual we were not disappointed. we got a fantastic room on the 4th floor with a balcony which gave us a brillant view of bantry bay, the hotel was spotless as usual and the food second to none. we will be back at christmas.

comments Great place to stay & will stay again. I would recommend the hotel as my children were very happy and the staff were most helpful. I would like some more variety on menu & access to car park must be looked at. Watch out for weddings as car park would fill up early in afternoon.

comments Thanks to all staf at Maritime Hotel. We always enjoy our stay at Maritime Hotel. We are living in Killarney town Co. Kerry. Every year our family is travel to Bantry and the best place to stay is Maritime Hotel. This year was our 5th time. Thank you all fro your hard work. Lydia and James O'Connor.

comments Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights with few friends. Great location perfect for touring, staff extremely helpful and nice, safe secure parking. Hotel disappointing very dark inside like a big apartment block outside. That said we really enjoyed our stay there.

comments Good over all experience during our stay. Comfortable bedroom and quiet surroundings with a balcony and seaview. Evening dinner in main restaurant was excellent. Felt breakfast buffet left the hotel down. The cooked choices were not freshly cooked, in particular scrambled egg. A greater choice of fresh fruit and condiments would be good.

comments The Hotel itself is lovely, just some small issues. The pool water was cold and the showers in the changing rooms were too hot to use. A suggestion for the balcony in the family room would be to have a table and 2 chairs on balcony just for parents to be able to relax evening time.

comments Lovely clean, warm, welcoming hotel wonderfully situated within easy walking distance of Bantry town. The early bird menu in the restaurant was excellent value and the food and service were superb. The staff generally could not have been more helpful. A problem with the room heating was swiftly and efficiently managed. We would certainly stay here again and take our swimming things, as we were not able to sample the excellent looking spa on this occasion.

comments To make your hotel a better place to stay I think having the plunger coffee and fresh milk in the rooms would make the stay at maritime a more welcoming stay for all with minimal over heads for you. For the class and price and having stayed at many hotels around the world, these are the things people are after, a decent coffee first thing in the mroning. Overall we were very happy with our stay

comments The hotel is new and very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the swimming pool and fitness facilities that were top class. We were disappointed in the bar food, but main resturant was very good. No wash cloths in rooms as we see in USA.

comments We found the hotel cosy, comfortable and of a high quality. The bedroom suite booked was fabulous and exceeded expectations. Staff were extremely friendly, cordial and polite. We also used the lesiure facilities which again were of a very high standard. We were very pleased at having booked this hotel. However, one word of note that we didn't realise at the time of booking, but the hotel is out on the road with no green garden area. Whilst there was no problem with noise from passing traffic, a garden area would have been nice.

comments Lovely hotel, rooms super. Only problem was delay of 40 mins in getting seated for breakfast, but the breakfast was good when we finally got a table. Apart from that it was a very enjoyable stay.
