comments This was my first stay at the hotel and it certainly will not be my last. From the time I entered the doors to leaving I found everything to be top class. My friend and I found all the staff to be very friendly and extreamly helpfull. We had dinner there and it was excellant. We were brought to the airport terminal and collected when we returnes straight back to our car. Overall it was an excellant stay and excellant value.

comments At check-out the receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE. We waited for her to finish a phone-call (she didn't acknowledge us) and then mid check-out she took a call for a future booking and calls from staff on a walkie talkie. Very unprofessional. In future we will consider the Radisson.

comments Accommodation, staff, food all excellent. We were so pleased we extended our stay to make a weekend visit to Cork and stayed an extra night. Only negative was the fire alarm set off in error at 1.30 am by a drunken guest which ruined our night's sleep.

comments Very near the airport and the shuttle service was fantastic as advertised on the hour and the half hour , we were both highly impressed with its efficiency . Rooms were great clean tidy very comfortable bed , Eventhough I didn't try the shower as had no shower cap and females getting up very early with long hair would like to do 2min showers too like their male counterparts too ! We will stay again in the future

comments Hi, On arrival we were both very impressed with the design and layout of the Hotel. I put some clients into this hotel before when they are flying into Cork on visits and they are usually also full of praise of the hotel. The Lady at reception couldn't have been nicer to us!! And managed upgraded us to a suite. I booked the New Years Celebration package online which included dinner. The time I booked for the dinner online was 20.00 but due to work reasons we didnt arrive till 19.30 so I asked the receptionist would it be ok if we put dinner back till 21.00 to which she had no problem. Then the trouble started!! We arrived down outside the restaurant at 20.55 to be ask "Yes how can I help You" in a aggressive voice. When I told who we were and about our booking he said we were ten minutes late and last serving was 20.45!! So in total in shock and confusion we accepted his answer and not knowing what to do We ended up saying "sorry" to him and headed for the bar. He then called us back and said he could still fit us in but we'll have to order the whole meal at once. Now we ended force feeding and rushing our dinner so much that I cant comment was the food good our bad (Never felt so rushed or uncomfortable eating out in my life) we actually decided to give the coffees a miss because we felt we were'nt welcome there! Had breakfast in the morn and it is a nice restaurant by the way! We didnt even go to the bar for a drink after because we were so stuffed from forcing our food down so quickly, we ended up spending New Years watching TV in the room (Thank God that lady put us in a suite!!) Anyway I had 2 clients in from Munich last Tuesday so I booked them into Roachestown Park Hotel... Regards, Aidan Lehane

comments CIAH was an unexpected pleasant surprise. The restaurant food was good value for money and the executive suite room for 4 had an interesting open plan L-shaped layout that provided privacy for both beds. It is extremely convenient and quick to the airport and we found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying there now every time we overnight in transit through Cork.

comments I had a very enjoyable and comfortable overnight stay in your hotel. The only (slight) negative I noted was that some of the coving in our room (123) had come away from the wall, a minor point, but it seemed a shame as the room was imaculate. My 7 year old son more than enjoyed his buffet breakfast and eating it in the aeroplane seats!!! I frequently stay in Cork airport overnight and in the past have used the Raddison hotel accross the road as it is often cheaper. Your hotel is by far superior and I booked on line and got a better deal with you, if these offers continue I will, of course, book again. Overall a pleasent and comfortable stay was had helped by polite and enthusiastic staff.

comments We were impressed with the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is of a high standard. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Toiletries eg; shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom would be a useful addition especially for air travellers.

comments We enjoyed our stay. The room was large and very comfortable and our evening with friends in the O Bar was enjoyable. Good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was superb, pity about the coffee! The added bonus of the bus stopping outside the hotel and the shuttle transfer to the airport were added bonuses. I would certainly recommend the hotel and stay there myself again. The psychaedelic ladies room is a 'must' to visit.

comments I did fill in a form which I left at the hotel. However, the overall stay was very good, but was disappointed with some aspects of the room. As there were 4 of us, I booked the Exec room for 4. Unfortunately, there were not enough towels, products, cups, tea and coffee for all of us. In addition the cartons of milk curdled in the cups, so god knows how out of date they were. I asked for extra cups and pillows and it took two phone calls before they were brought up. This was a shame as we were very pleased with the room and the service received at reception and in the bar.

comments We enjoyed our short stay in the hotel prior to our flight to Liverpool, the check in process was a bit slow, one of the Visa Machines were told was on its last legs. We felt there could have been bottle water provided in the room as well as a small packet of biscuits to have with our tea/coffee. We had a meal in the bar and the ambient temperature was very cool, the food was excellent and good value.

comments I was, unfortunately, very ill while I stayed at the hotel (pleurisy), and I have to specially commend 'Peter', who seemed to be running the hotel single-handedly for all the help he gave me and my daughter during that stay. Firstly, the tv wasn't working, but Peter fixed it, we couldn't figure out how to turn the heating on in the room, Peter came to fix it, I needed a doctor, Peter sorted it out - he arranged a shuttle for us in the morning and he did a million things to help us. He was wonderful and is worthy of a special commendation for his kindness and professionalism. A great asset to your company.

We had dinner which was superb. We were also very impressed with our morning calls. There was no way we could have missed our 6.30 flight! The parking and courtesy bus service are superb.

comments We have used the airport hotel a number of times this year and are very happy with the services provided! We found it extremely convenient for early morning flights, as the shuttle bus is so frequent, it definitely beats getting up hours before flights and having to drive miles to get to the airport! comments I cannot fault my stay at the Cork International Airport Hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The hotel decor is very quirky which stands it above your run of the mill airport style hotel. The bar and restaurant are good and it is in a good location for a stay in Cork or access to the airport. It was decorated nicely for Christmas while we stayed there. I would definitely use the hotel again on my next visit to Cork.

comments The hotel was clean, the service was brilliant and on the last night after a difficult day I was given an apartment instead of a double room!! and the receptionist showed compassion 2nd to none. Fantastic. The only downside was the hot water took a very long time (25 minutes running the tap to get luke warm water) maybe they need to look at the plumbing and then this would be a 10star hotel.

comments Just like to say that I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions with my sisters and it is fabulous. The staff are so helpful they are the best. Nothing is too much trouble. This time I was travelling with 2 Irish friends and they couldn't beleive it. One of there nieces usually books people into Jury's but infuture will now be booking Cork International hotel. The bar food was out of this world they had never had anyting like it. We just can't fault anything top marks. We will be over again in March 2011. I am really pleased you have sent me this survey. comments Hi, Although we only stayed the night and the room was nice the dinner was horrible. We had to wait for nearly 20 minutes to get ice water. The foot was inedible. I had a pizza and my daughter had a salad and a pasta dish. We did not have any service in the way of refilling our water glasses even though the dining room was nearly empty. I paid Euro $28.75 for that dinner. You would have thought that the waiter would have said something when we said to him that there was no need to box up our dinner as it was inedible. He didn't even flinch. I finally went up to pay the bill and they used my credit card and it did not go thru. They used another and it did not go through. They tried and tried and they said there was something wrong with my card. Since I paid for the hotel room with my card I knew it was ok. So I went to the front desk to pay for our horrible dinner and it went thru fine. I found the hotel cold in atmosphere and help. We should have eaten somewhere else but figured it would be a great dinner but it was nothing as expected. We were told your hotel was great. I still have the dinner ticket and that is why I know the dinner was Euro 28.75 for food we hardly ate. Very disappointing experience. Your dining room staff need some more work on attentiveness to customers. Yes, I would like to hear from your hotel. I would like to know how they think they could have done better. Another strange thing that I noticed was that our bath mat was damp and we had no shampoo also no washcloths. it was late. We had to be up by 5:00 am for our flight so we took a quick shower and went to bed. Having paid nearly in the range of $110.00 for this room and then the dinner money, I don;'t think we'd stay at your hotel again. The room was clean though and the hotel was also clean.

comments This was a very clean & modern hotel to stay in, we have stayed before and although overlooking the airport, the noise was minimal. The staff were extremely helpful from check in to check out, and the bar staff were very attentive, the rooms were clean and very spacious, would stay again if only visiting for a couple of days, as due to location you do need a car but an ideal Hotel for a base.

comments We only stayed one night but we found the service in your main restaurant and reception exemplary. The bar downstairs was nice, service was however was fairly slow. The only complaint I would make is that the airport taxi we were offered due to the heavy rain turned up, ignored us waiting in the lobby (as we had been instructed) and went upstairs to have what sounded like a fairly loud disagreement with the woman on reception (who was extremely polite) despite the fact he knew we were waiting for him downstairs. After 15 minutes we walked our luggage through the rain. Unfortunatly made for a rather damp flight! His attitude rather spoilt our experience which is a shame as we visit cork regularly and often are looking for somewhere to stay.

comments A very convenient hotel for early departures and late arrivals at Cork airport. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the reservations staff most friendly and helpful. We had lunch there ont he day we arrived and the food was also very good. So all in all I would definitely use this airport again and the special rate I got for booking in advance was great.

comments Very nice. Great breakfast. A bit chilly in room. and in main foyer. I booked advertised deal which promoted "free pint of guinness on arrival", but this was not known about at reception. had to ask, initially told no, then ok "one pint only". Like I was looking to pull a trick.

comments i am still awaiting an explanation and appology for my room not made up for saturday and sunday and bins not emptied inspite that i notified reception of saturday problem only to find the same problem sunday at 22:00 when tired and looking forward to sleep. dirty towel smelly and bins not taken out.mind you i left tag on door requesting my room to be cleaned both days, wrote email and still waiting for answers

comments I found the fact that reception is on the first floor and the lift quite a ways away inconvenient. I walk with the cane and having to walk up a flight of stairs whenn coming from the car park was not ideal. Otherwise I liked the room as well as the dinner in the bar.

comments I first saw Cork International Airport Hotel from the behind the large glass windows of the arrivals floor. Its name was written high across the roof like a faded castle, using colours of jaded greens like the Paris Metro. And in common with both I didnt know whether to expect a certain old world glamour, or a clinging to wreckage from a bygone era. As soon as I entered the mezzanine deck reception my spirits lifted. I didnt get time to soak anything in before I was greeted by the receptionist with a celtic smile and a soothing Irish lilt. I was in my room 20 minutes after touching down. And what a room! On second thoughts I didnt need two beds, but i did try them both. The walk to breakfast filled my footfalls with light. To be shown to my seat was an honour and the food was utterly delicious, although devilishly difficult to eat too much. The gym was on the top floor, and Im sure my treadmill footfalls disturbed the Guy in the room below. But one of the best things about my stay was NOT having the stress of waiting for room service to knock. The discretion they employed was a treat and a priviledge for me and thus I was actually able to relax. I stayed for a course there, and the facilities were top notch. I loved the coffee and biscuit breaks. But one thing that must be mentioned is a trip to the Mens toilets on the first floor. It was like attending a session of colour therapy! I did not know whether to be totally cured or have a headache. It was certinly an experience. I loved the use of light in the open hall beneath the mezzanine. Whoever decorated the area deserves some kind of award. Juxtaposing vintage cars with large pictures of moss covered rocks with outsize seats from the 1930,s with staff working areas. Sounds mad, but it really works! Great stay and I would love to return.

One minor drawback... they are very stingy with soap. One very tiny (and I mean TINY) bar is all we got for use both the sink and the bath, so we were having to switch that tiny bar back and forth from tub to sink. When we ask for more soap, they brought one more tiny bar of soap.

comments having stayed before. I knew this was a good hotel. One of the best in Ireland of which I stay in many! On this stay the hotel again was very good but let down by me having somebody's toe or finger nails on the carpet by the bed. The cleaner just had not hoovered? very off putting.

Everything from it's design, food and staff were exceptional. I am usually very fussy about hotels and have very high standards. This hotel is first class all the way. comments A superb hotel in every aspect. Normally a stay in an airport based hotel gives one the feeling of being treated as a "captive audience" with possibilities of complacent staff, tired decor and rip off prices. Cork international hotel is none of these. The staff are very polite and attentive, the food was superb and the decor was without doubt the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. To top it all aircraft noise is minimal to non existant. The hotel is clearly seen from the terminal doors and is easily walked in under 10 mins allowing return flights to be timed to the minute. A true gem of a hotel. Highly recommended!

The staff were absolutely lovely, and friendly and the room and bathroom was immaculate. I left my hair dryer behind but when we returned from Liverpool three days later, the girl at reception checked it out and I got it back. I was delighted. comments Beautiful hotel, We had a lovely room, very clean. The receptionist checked us in for the airport the night before we had to fly to Amsterdam, the shuttle bus to the airport was perfect and there was a free breakfast of croissants, coffee, tea, juice, etc. Very good!

The staff was most accommodating, the complimentary EARLY continental breakfast was just right, and the rooms were comfortable. We were disappointed only one restaurant was open. However, the cutting edge decor was lots of fun.

comments If you love old planes and a general aviation surround this hotel is for you. My husband is a plane buff and was in his element with the decour. I thought the hotel was art noveau i.e built in the 20's but it is less than 10 years old. Very comfortable and the best evening meal I have had in a bar/restaurant for years. Very friendly staff, even picked us up from the airport 200 yards away as it was a very windy day. Bus to Cork less than 100 yards from hotel. Visited Foto wildlife park & public transport no problem at all. Will be back! Just wish the exchange rate was better!

comments We have stayed at this Hotel many times and surprisingly enough we weren't even using the airport! The hotel is great, big bedrooms, nice bar and really good breakfast. The hotel has an aviation theme which gives it's a distinctive charater. It is only a 10 minute drive to the city centre and on the road to Kinsale if you want to do something outdoors. Looking forward to my next visit there. Would highly recommend it to anyone. There is no comparison between this hotel and the other one at the airport for quality and value for money!

comments I was expecting an average very basic hotel. When we entered the first thing we noticed was the car in the lobby i knew this hotel was a bit different. Throughly enjoyed the stay even the trip to the ladies was fun and funky. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room soooooo comfortable. Besonders klasse fand ich den Service morgens. Todmüde standen wir um 4.30 Uhr an der Rezeption um zu zahlen und wurden dann, obwohl kein Frühstück gebucht, noch zu Kaffee, Tee Obst und frischen Croissantes eingeladen. Super Idee!!!

comments We only stayed for one night, but the hotel gave us a wonderful relaxing stay. It is a short walk from the airport - genuinely so- and has unique decor and surroundings. It is far from the standars set up in many airport hotels and is full of character. Very quiet when we stayed, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, a nice bar and a great restaurant where the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and the room was of a high standard with no noise of traffic from the air or the road.

comments The hotel was just what I needed. I arrived in Cork early one weekday evening and just needed a place to stay before heading off to a meeting the next morning. It was 3-5mins walk from arrivals to the hotel. They were very efficient and the room was lovely (Rm 313 - a non-smoking, business class room which had a balcony at the back of the hotel). The room service food was lovely and very quick. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice of continental foods and cooked items. I do not hesitate in recommending this to anyone who needs a comfortable place to rest your head for the night.

comments I enjoyed the "retro" 70's decor and atmosphere of the hotel. It was very reasonably priced compared to other hotels I have stayed at recently in Europe and the staff was great. The shuttle to and from the airport was prompt and always running.

comments Amazing place!!! Would stay there again any time!!! Very modern and great decoration: all about flighing. You must see the ladies (guess gents aswell) bathroom on groung level! Amazing, I loved it. Everything very clean, stuff friendly, we even had a great breakfast "for free" at 5am! It truely is a beautiful hotel!

comments I booked the Cork International Airport Hotel after reading recomendations on Tripadvisor.com, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is quirky, clean and efficient. The food is good and the staff are very friendly. My room was large, spotless and very well equipped with all of the necessities we have come to expect these days. I would recommend it to anyone either for business or, as a base for a touring holiday of Cork & Kerry. The easy parking and access to main roads make more sense than staying in the centre of Cork, which can have traffic and parking problems.

comments We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Specifically we appreciated: - the modern decor; - The quality and level of sophistication of the whole hotel including the furnishing of the rooms and bathrooms; - The on-demand shuttle transfer to the airport - no fixed times for transport; The competent and friendly staff. This hotel does not have that used feel and is way above the stardards you normally find at airports. Unfortunately our stay was just for 1 night but we will stay again when the opportunity arises. We will definitely recommend it to friends. The value for money was excellent.

comments Very disappointed with my stay. I had an early morning flight & specified a wake up call for 4am - did not receive one. When I was checking out, I complained to the man at reception & all he said was that it was on the computer. He shrugged this off & then told me I was to pay ?9.50 for my use of the mini bar. I did not use the mini bar. I had to argue my case & he evenutally told me he trusted me !!!! Very Very unprofessional staff for a lovely looking hotel. Would not stay again nor recommend when using Cork Airport.

comments Apart from the fact of the convenience to the airport for an early morning flight, simply staying in this hotel is an entertainment in itself. The decor is extremely modern and quirky, but apart from that service is excellent, and the availability of a buffet breakfast at a very early hour was extremely welcome. Definitely stay there again.

Tremendously courteous staff particularly Marek ( Marul / Maruk ?? the porter??? not certain of his name ) He couldn't have done more for us - even jump-started our car when we returned after our holidays to find battery was flat. Reception, restaurant and bar staff also extremely helpful and courteous during both our stays. Breakfast menu delightful - good variety, relaxed atmosphere, lovely surroundings. The ambience throughout the hotel is pleasant and restful while the decor is bright and modern with lots of unexpected, quirky little touches. Loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return.

comments Very pleasant, clean and modern room (I think I got upgraded to a family room), close to the airport and a pleasant breakfast. Who decided to decorate the restaurant like the inside of a plane though? That was pretty crazy!

comments It was fantastic. Honestly exceeded my expectations. Great Staff, Un-real rooms. If I had not have a negative the meal in the restaurant could have been better but that is only nit-picking.

comments I have stayed twice at this hotel and have enjoyed both stays. However, they have introduced swipe cards to use the lifts which were a disaster. Myself and other family members had four rooms booked and on our return to the hotel that night with 8 key cards between us we could not get the swipe cards to work in the lifts. Eventually we found a lift that worked without the swipe card only to find the cards would not let us into our rooms. Reception were helpful and gave us replacement cards which worked but it was frustrating having to go looking for new cards late at night instead of being able to go straight to our rooms. Having said all that, I will be booking this hotel again in the future.

comments Excellent hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly from the minute we set foot inside the door. Our room was huge and extremely clean and comfortable. We ate dinner in the bar and it was lovely, the service again was great. Reception staff booked us on our flight which was for early the next morning so we got an extra hour in bed. Loved the decor and the whole ambiance of the place. Can't think of one negative thing to say about it.

comments Really enjoyed my brief stay at this Hotel. Staff were very helpful, service was excellent and the rooms airy and comfortable. The decor of the Hotel is stunning, very different - modern but without being cold or impersonal. Will be staying there frequently from now on as I fly out on the early flights from Cork regularly. Particularly liked the fact that I can leave my car in the Hotel carpark rather than having to move it to the airport carpark as you have to with other nearby Hotels. 5 stars - well done! comments Excellent, friendly service from all staff. Efficient airport pick-up. Very good rooms but the art deco and modernist decoration in public areas is sometimes very bizarre and not very comfortable or relaxing. Waiting at night for security to open the gate to the commercial estate on which the hotel is located can be a pain.
