comments From the moment my husband and I checked in at reception untill we checked out we found the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and relaxing. We invited two friends to join us for dinner on our last night and they were very impressed also as this was their first visit. All in all it was a good choice and many thanks.

comments beautiful,quiet hotel. the size of the bedrooms were very big also. the pool was lovely too. the only thing i didnt like was that there was a VERY poor selection of food on the menus in both the club house and the hotel itself for vegetarians

comments we stayed in the golf suites which were spacious and well equipped. Perfect accommodation for families. Food in the golf club was excellent. Only one negative we requested a high chair for use in the suite which didnt turn up.

comments Room was very clean and spacious, shower was great really powerful. Evening meal was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. You would need a car as its a bit of a distance from Blarney itself. Ideal for travelling into Cork city. Bad points if I'm to be critical, bed was very soft not suitable for somebody with a bad back, breakfast was just OK.

comments Had a wonderful time . The rooms were large and airy and modern. Appreciated having tea making facilities etc in room,. The staff were very pleasant and the meal was first class. Compliments to yhe chef. The leisure facilities were excellent and was reasonably busy as it was used by locals also.so it felt quite relaxing. Would definately visit again.

comments Loved the Ramada. Meal so good the first night, we booked restaurant again for second night, though service disappointing second night as it was much busier. Disappointed with Spa facilities, rang hotel at least 2 weeks before we were due to go and tried to book spa, but was told a week beforehand was plenty by receptionist at hotel; rang with one week to go and it was booked up ! Only picked that hotel because of spa. Very disappointed. Hotel lovely though.

comments The staff were very friendly and helpful,the rooms could have been brighter(decor wise) but very clean.The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious(and i'm a chef!!),the buffet breakfast was wonderful,everything from full irish to danish pastries to freshly cut pineapple and melon..Yes it is out of the way from the madding crowd but thats exactly what we wanted..!! The husband thoroughly enjoyed the golf,he reckons it's one of the best maintained courses around.. All in all top marks all round..!! We willl be back..!

comments Overall the Ramada hotel in Blarney is a lovely hotel but I did find it very cold. The corridors leading from reception appear to be unheated and also the bedroom did not seem to heat until your room key was put into the slot. The bar would not encourage me to go in as it is far too small plus very impersonal. A very large TV was on every evening I visited blaring out sport which seemed to be the choice of the barman. I think low intimate music would have been much better. After all if I wanted to watch TV I would have stayed in my room. I do think that the seating arrangement in the bar is very bad with quite a lot of wasted space.

comments The bedroom were great lots of space. We also had dinner ther which was good. The breakfast was mixed on the first morning there was no fresh fruit available and cooked breakfast was a bit dry and on our second morning it was good and fruit was available. The location of the hotel is quite, being a few miles from Blarney village but if you want a relaxing stay then it is good. I would recommend it to a friend and I would return

comments Everytihng was brilliant in the hotel apart from when we tried to book dinner on our first night we were told the restaurant was closed(Sunday) and that food in the bar was available until 6. We went to the bar to be told that there was no food menu, and then also found out that food in the golf club house finished at 6.30....so we decided on room service because we had both drank alcohol and were not going to drive to a restaurant, only to discover that there was no room service on Sundays or Mondays!! What are guests meant to do for food? Surely more peolpe along with my husband and I like to eat??!!

comments The hotel, the location, the staff, the restaurant, the pool -were all excellent, and, if truth be known, above my expectation. We had a marvellously relaxing weekend, and will definitely be back. There was the smallest chink in Ramada's armour - when we arrived, the room was prepared as a twin room - not as the double that was booked. This was rectified very quickly, however.

comments With reference to our stay in the Ramada Hotel and Suites at the Blarney Golf Resort in Cork. I would like to let you know that we had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel. We had a family of four and booked two rooms which were connected. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Staff both at reception and restaurant very helpful. The leisure centre is very conveniently reached at the reception area and was of the highest standard. The hotel is situated outside the village of Blarney but it is in a good location for touring Cork. Overall we had a very enjoyable visit and highly recommend a visit to the hotel.

comments I stayed at the Ramada Blarney for two nights, from Jul 20th to 22nd '07, with five other guests. We were very impressed with the hotel and with our rooms, they were absolutely beautiful. The service was also extremely good and the staff were lovely. The only complaint we had was with our meal in the restaurant on Friday night. Four meals were served fifteen minutes before the other two. We were not informed there was a delay or a mix up with the orders. By the time the last two meals arrived everyone else was finished. We were very dissatisfied with the meal and service. However, that was the only complaint we had over the whole weekend. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel, it is a haven of luxury and relaxation!

comments This was my second time to visit the Ramada Hotel and was not disappointed with the quality of the hotel or the standard of service. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I found the restaurant very good and service to be of a high standard. There is a golf course adjacent to the hotel for anyone interested. A car is a must to get to the hotel as it is a few miles outside blarney on a country road. If there were any faults (and they were minor), the hotel can be a little difficult to find and there was no snack menu in the bar (although I was advised there is one in the golf club). Overall a very pleasant stay and a good base for touring Cork/Kerry.

comments We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were most helpfull and friendly. The room decor wasmordern and comfortable with a wonderful balcony from which you could enjoy the tranquility of the extensive grounds. However the negative comment I would have is the disorganised method of table srevice for breakfast. While the staff were most obliging and friendly, no one abeared to have a set table and you would have to ask for eg milk, toast plates for buffet etc. I found this to be the case when I stayed last year also.

comments Rooms seem to have a lack of Hot water for Shower/bath Restaurant maybe needed some background music as very quiet even though people in it and also the night we ate in restaurant everybodys order got mixed up. I thought the bar was a little small especially when people are finished dinner and came into the bar for a drink there was a struggle to get a seat. Also if having breakfast late there was very little food left and it was necessary to ask staff to bring additional plates, bowls etc.

comments I was very dissapointed, Quoting the Ramada as being a Blarney Hotel for me is a False advertisment. It is over 5 KM from Blarney and should be advertised as Tower and not Blarney. We spend over ?100 in taxis (4384477) as we expected to avail of the Blarney Bus service. It was not safe to walk to the Tower bus Service. The Hotel is fine but we were dissaponted with the location, we have stayed in Blarney many times and when you add 100?+ to the cost of the Ramada the alternative Blarney options would be more attractive. I reccomend a shuttle bus to Balarney. Please reply with your comments / repsonse.

comments The hotel and staff were very nice, the room was spacious and the gym facilities very good. What was disapointing was the food in the resturaunt wasn't very good at all. Also there were not the little extras you would expect in a 4* hotel room, simple things like cotton buds, sewing kits etc. they were all available but you had to contact reception to get them

comments The Shower was cold on sat evening, I rang down to reception, they said it looked like everyone was having there shower at the same time and that was the reason. Maybe leave it for a few minutes and try again. Not good enough! Also, No entertainment in the bar(Valentines w/e)

comments This is a wonderful place for a family and so centrally located. What would have made this a 5 is a kid's club. The food was very good, with excellent choices for breakfast. Lot's of options for the whole family. The pool was nice with an area for the smaller kids.

comments The Ramada Hotel Blarney rooms were very big and spacious. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The dining room was lovely and the food, both dinner & breakfast were very good. Could do with more road signs to help find the hotel!!

comments I found the hotel very good and the staff very friendly. The only negative was that the tea/coffee making facilities were not replenished after the first nights stay. The dining room was comfortable and the food, both dinner & breakfast were good. The menu and wine list were good also. The leisure centre was excellent though the showers didnt have any shower gel. The staff at the golf resort were very helpful. I have recommended the hotel to friends and would certainly stay there again.

comments Staff at the hotel were very nice and helpfull. Rooms were very big and airy. My husband played golf and enjoyed it and would recommend it. Our only fault is that it is at least 2.5 miles from Blarney. Quite a few guests had no transport and it was expensive for taxi's to Blarney and Cork. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

comments The Ramada in Blarney was a very enjoyable stay for myself and my boyfriend who had never visited Blarney before. The staff were excelent and very helpful and bumped us up to a deluxe suite which was fab! Gorgeous rooms, telly was a bit wonky but staff happily fixed that and food was lovely! struck off one mark for the leisure centre as it wasn't very appealing and the non-existent sign at the entrance which we actually ended up passing when we first arrived! It is quite a new hotel so the leisure centre may still be work in progress but it definately needs to be more attractive..the Spa looked lovely aswell but be sure to book in advance as we missed out on treatments..Mid 20's couple from Drogheda.
