comments 1) I greeted the man in reception as gaeilge and got answered in English and despite a few attempts was surprised that no effort was made by hotel staff to answer in Irish even though it is supposed to be a gaeltacht area. 2) The route up the the room was via a stair way and open area which doubled as a meeting area for a local group. Having to walk through it made me feel as if I was invading the local group of senior citizens. 3) The corridor outside the room had a bad smell. It smelt like an air inlet was close to an exhaust or fume outlet from the kitchen. 4) Breakfast was a little disorganised. There were no side plates for toast etc and there was noone covering the breakfast. Perhaps the hotel mgmt should think of having a full buffet rather than having to serve the breakfast?
