The staff in this hotel were so friendly & helpful, & the warmeth when you walked into the foyer was just fabulous, we had such a lovely stay in this hotel & have recommended it to our friends. we will definitley return.	report this review as inappropriate

I had a lovely time & we enjoyed our stay. There were one or two things though. Firstly our double bed was two single beds pushed together. Secondly there were problems with our T.V. in our room. There were problems with the cold water pressure but that was fixed when we noticed a staff member. I loved your bath very relaxing. The food was gorgeous. Well done chef. The staff in resturant and hotel were great very helpful. I really enjoyed the gym and swimming pool. Overall I had a lovely time and would have no problem recommending your hotel.	report this review as inappropriate

We had a pleasant stay at the Woodstock. We stayed for 2 nights B&B and one evening meal. Continental style breakfast was very nice but the cooked breakfast i.e "the full irish" was nothing to write home about sausages were like "rubber". On the other hand we couldn't fault the evening meal, it was very tasty. We wont be returning to the Woodstock for the following reasons: No major Wow factor and no atmosphere in the hotel. There was no information in the room about the hotel at all i.e services it provides, no notepaper and no pen in the room.... ...its the small little things that count!!	report this review as inappropriate

We had a pleasant stay - the hotel is comfortable but lacking in atmosphere. The decor in the dining room could be vastly improved.The food was only so-so.Overall we were happy enough though given how much it cost.	report this review as inappropriate

Very quiet, no athmosphere in bar, found breakfast may have been left sitting rather than served fresh immediately. We had one evening meal which was lovely. Rooms were fine. Staff overall were very nice. Each time we went in to Ennis it cost ?10 in a taxi each way, too far to walk.	report this review as inappropriate

My friend and i booked two rooms at the woodstock hotel for ourselves and our four children. While the weather was awful, the hotel was a dream for us. It was so child friendly,the staffwere fantastic and the food was amazing,far superior to what we expected.It was also great value for money, an experience definitely to be repeated!	report this review as inappropriate

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived eventhough I had got the booking a day wrong.It was a joy to eat in the restaurant, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the menu available had no limitations even for the meal included in the package.The food was very enjoyable and pleasing to the tastebuds but again it was the wonderful staff who made the difference. The hotel is fantastic with stunning views from the rooms. It is very peaceful and relaxing from the moment of arrival. The hotel restaurant was perfection the first night we ate there with the service and food equally outstanding. The spa facilities were very hygenic and enjoyable. Unfortunately on our last night we did not experience the same standards in the restaurant which meant our holiday didnt end on quite the same footing as we'd expected.	report this review as inappropriate

Nice hotel. Good reception staff and cleaning service, food excellent, good leisure facilities. However, not the 4 star I would have expected overall. I thought attention to detail was bad for a 4 star hotel. Our remote control was not working and we were unable to get a new one. In the diningroom the breakfast butter jam etc were left on the table after each sitting and as a result were full of butter and crumbs. The staff in the bar particularly far from friendly and everything requested appeared to be a huge ordeal. Overall disappointed with service and staff. Food was excellent and evening dinner e35. was superb. requested double bed and while we got this, it was two single beds put together with single headboards attached to wall! (this was booked in early august) !Hairdryer was stuck in a drawer and was extremely hard to use my advise bring your own. Nice pool area.	report this review as inappropriate

We stayed in the Woodstock Hotel for a weekend in October. Upon arrival we were booked in immediately and we had a lovely big room with a very large bed. The food was very good and the staff were lovely and very friendly. I used the pool on two occasions and found it to be very clean. Arrived on Sun afternoon, room was O K bad stain on carpet, shower did not work but each complaint was dealt with courtesy and change to a most delightful room. Breakfast at Woodstock was SUPERB and the night we had dinner also excellent. Dining Room Bar and Reception Staff are a credit to hotel!!
