This hotel was superb - the room comfort was top class . The customer service was outstanding -the staff of the hotel could not do enough for you - great location on a beautiful beach a really relaxing place where the staff fell over themselves to cater to your every need. The restaurant was very reasonably priced and the food was to die for .The care and attention that went into each dish and the meticulous arrangement of the food on your plate ,we felt guilty sticking a knife and fork into it . Although there were weddings in the hotel while we were there we felt like we were their most important customers during our stay. At one stage in the early hours of the morning in the residents bar - I realized I was too late to put my request for breakfast to the room on the hotel door - the night porter overheard and asked me for my room number and order - he never wrote this down and sure enough at 10am my exact order came to the room -- really impressed me that he went that extra mile !!!!!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Burkes Armada Hotel - it was located right beside a beautiful beach and very close to neighbouring towns. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The room was modern style, very clean and I really couldn't fault the place at all! I would definately recommend it!

Lovely rooms, complimentary upgrade to suite, friendly service, stunning views. Great meal in 'Pearl Restaurant'. Only minor complaint is that there was no safe in the room.

Lovely hotel, wonderful location and staff who could not do enough to make our visit enjoyable. Could be better organised in the restaurant, long wait for food at dinner and a shortage of staff at breakfast time. Dinner in the bar was a much more pleasant experience all round.

Very Friendly and attentive reception staff member. Nice room with a lovely sea view and a lovely cosy traditional bar. Breakfast was also very tasty. Pity we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant or the other bar but we will be back. (we arrived at 9pm the night we arrived and had to leave early for a funeral the next morning)

Co. Clare is a favourite of ours but we had never stayed in Burkes before. From the time we pulled up in the car park to be greeted by the gorgeous smell of the sea and the amazing view we knew we were on a winner. A 3star hotel but with a definite 4/5star chef. Every meal we had was nicer than the last. If there was a downside at all it was the lack of live music in the bar, although in fairness we did a Sun. to Wed. break. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient without being 'in your face'. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with glorious sea views. Overall an excellent place to unwind and leave the cares of the world behind.
