Hotel was quaint & very relaxing. Staff were lovely especially in the restaurant where the food was exceptionally good. Great selection on the menu. Really enjoyed the local walks, was raging we were only there for the one night! Anne Bailey, Kildare

My husband and I have stayed at the Park Hotel 3 times and have enjoyed all our stays. The food was excellent and the staff are friendly and polite. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel itself has an old world feel while the grounds and forrest walks adds to the relaxing atmosphere of this hotel. We will be back again.

Our stay was an overnight on Valentines weekend. The Valentines menu could not be faulted and the staff are excellent , very hardworking and extremely pleasant. The little touches like chocolate strawberries and biscuits sent to the room and a Rose and champagne during the meal. By the way , dessert chef please give yourself a clap on the back , the dessert was outstanding and the best we have had. Well done to all. As regular customers we will be back for more. Rena Rowe

We stayed for one night at the Park Hotel on a special offer. Our meal was delicious during which we had a friendly chat with the owner. Service from the staff was very friendly and not overly intrusive and our room was very spacious and warm. My wife found the bed especially comfy.

We had a great stay at the Park Hotel. It was a cold snowy evening when we arrived and we were allocated a room at the front the hotel. The room was very traditional, clean and most important in the weather, toasty warm. We stayed bed and breakfast. The staff were very friendly. A nice full Irish breakfast was provided in nice surroundings the next morning. We will return again and would recommend to our friends.

We checked in at roughly 1400hrs saturday afternoon. We had an issue with our reservation initially, we had booked 2 months previously on the website however we were not on the days manifest of reservations. As the hotel was not fully booked there was no issue. We had a spectacular ploughmans lunch and a amazing walk on the grounds that day, the dinner was stunning, staff exceptionally friendly and excellent service. The hotel was warm and snug. Breakfast was also spectacular. Overall experience was incrediable and we'll be back when the hotel reopens in Feb (hopefully the fire in the bar will be working again!!). Look up value for money in the dictionary and I think the Park Hotel is there.

The location was beautiful. he hotel was lovely and full of character. Our room was great and the balcony with the view over the lake was quite breathtaking, especially with the snow and the blue skies. The only downside unfortunately was in the restaurant were our meal on the Saturday night was very disappointing. If that area could be improved my rating would have been a 5 and I would be delighted to return for a weekend stay.

Lovely country hotel in beautiful setting, very friendly staff. We booked a double and twin room but the twin was very small. The staff moved us into a huge superior room at no extra cost! Irish breakfast was fab. Would highly recommend!

warm frendly welcome. very clean and comfortable bedroom. the food was first classs. dont play golf, but there was plenty of walks i could do. just a pity about the weather

We stayed one night in June. The hotel is in a lovely location, with nice walks and views, and is full of character. The weather was lovely, so we were able to have a drink in the rose garden. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and the bed was comfortable. Overall it was very relaxing and good value for money.

to get out of the car first impression yow what a view and then to walk towards your hotel it was like coming home, reception staff extremely friendly and welcoming, walking around the grounds with the helpful map supplied was a fanastic idea and the acccommodation was excellent one of the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever slept in. The food the unbelievable service with a flourish and expertly done in a friendly ambience walking around the hotel see the intergrounds would make me envious of not having them in my own home. Looking forward to my next visit and will definitely recommend.
