Hotel esta muy bien servicio, habitacion, y de todos. Es genial por esta en el centro de Barcelona, en un minuto caminar hasta La Catedral, zona de ocios y tiendas... Aunque para encontrar esa hotel en el primer dia es un complicada, pero de momento ya sabras donde esta. Unico que no hay television ni internet en las habitaciones, pero si hay en zona de descanso. Y tambien no hay sitio donde puedo enchufa, asi tenia que cargar en el baño.

	Este bien situado pero es mas una sensacion de pension antigua que de hotel.Para ir solo a dormir esta bien y limpio. No hay television, esta recien pintado pero es muy antiguo y basico.No hay jabon ni de nada en el baño.

	We stayed at the Hotel Call for 5 nights. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk from the ramblas. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and the room was basic but clean (bedding and towels changed every day).

	This hotel was very good despite of being a 1-star hotel: located in a good and calm place, 24 hour reception, daily cleaning. WiFi is only available at the ground-floor, but it is not a big problem.

	Excellent hotel in great location. Might just about be time for a coat of paint though. Customer service was particularly good, friendly staff and I wasnt charged when I had to cancel at last minute in April due to volcano.

	Location is superb in the Old Town and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of nearby cafes for breakfast. But room had one small window behind lift. Lack of ventilation an issue and could be quiter but would stay there again.

	L'hotel est très bien situé (5 min à pied des ramblas) tout en étant dans un quartier calme. Le personnel est très agréable et parle plusieurs langues. Mais, il ne propose pas de petit déjeuner et l'équipement des chambres est minime. Cet hotel est parfait pour ceux qui passent peu de temps dans leur chambre.

	Friendly personel, clean and comfortable, and very well located in the Gothic Quarter. The obvious improvement that could be done is the location of the power outlets, made for giants. We had to get on the chair to barely reach it. Still, at this price range, very recommended.

	Hotel is located in close proximity to Metro station and with walking distance of all attraction in the center of medieval Jewish quarter. Rooms are small but comfortable with fool bathroom including bidet. Very clean...linens are changed every day. Very helpful and friendly English speaking staff. Excellent value for the money

	The imminent need to improve the condition in the hotel is to install the double windows in order to protect rooms from a street noise. Otherwise, the staff is excellent, very helpfull. Thanks for the stay. MZ

	Nicht erschrecken, wenn man das Hotel von außen sieht!!!!! (Ist nicht gerade einladend) Innen: Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, jedoch sehr sauber. Das Bad besteht aus einem WC, Bidet und einer Dusch/Badewannenkombination. Dazu kommt, daß man kaum eine bessere zentrale Lage für wenig Geld bekommen wird, wie hier. Ich würde nochmals hier übernachten

Great value for money. Hotel is very close to Rambla and restaurants, though the 50m you have to pass through a quiet street are a bit nervebreaking because of the groups of guys who stand there every evening and really tried to rob us the first evening. Unfortunately there is no other way to get to the hotel. Rooms are small but not to small, very clean and sheets and towels were replaced every day. Room was really clean and looked like it had been recently painted. Room was very noisy though, not with outside noises but with voices of people in de room next to you, toilets, showers and beds :-) Fortunately, we had quiet neighbours and we all stood up around 9 o'clock. Staff was very helpful.

	All was good and as expected pursuant to the seen photos. Except for the slim walls so we could hear almost everything from adjacent rooms, and almost no view from the window so we had no idea how is the weather until we go out. In general, good accomodation, clean and satisfactory, with excellent location, would stay there again, if I visit Barcelona.

	We found the location perfect. We were very disapointed that there was no window in the the room, which made the room a bit klaustrofobic. Besides that the room was nice and clean. Good athmosfere with a very welcoming and most helpfull staff at all hours. We will visit again, but will then ask for a room with a window.

	Very central, great location, noise from street at night. City is full of pickpockets so never stop if someone offers you fliers/ leaflets to look at, it is a scam. Staff very friendly and helpful.

	We've heard every noise of the neighbours, no room in the room so no fresh air. The location was good however in the evening not so pleasant if you are alone as a woman.

	Hotel Call could not host me for a technical problem (electrical paln out of service). I have been redirected to Hotel Condal; it is not bad, maybe the room is a bit small, but sufficiently quiet and clean.

	The staff was extremely friendly & the rooms as the hotel were cleaned every day! The only remark is that there wasn't a window in our room. But this is just a litlle remark, because normally you don't spent lot of time in your hotelroom. It's also reasonable because there is a balance in price and quality.

	Já sabiamos que iamos encontrar um quarto bastante pequeno e, provavelmente, sem janela; quando chegámos tinhamos janela no quarto e no WC, apesar de interiores. As parede~s não são muito insonorizantes, mas consegue-se dormir (também estavamos sempre bastante cansados). Alojar-me-ia novamente, as instalações são bastante limpas.

	Clean room, great location, cheap price. What more could you want? The staff even let us leave our bags in the office on our last day which was very helpful. Don't expect too much as it is only a one star hotel but you only want your room to sleep in. There's so much to do and see outisde!

The location is one of the best, right in the middle of everything, example 1 minute off the Rambla, 3 minute walk to Placa Catalunya. The double rooms are very smal with a small window, so if your claustrophobic or don't want to be it don't book this hotel. BUT: the personel is really friendly and helpfull, if you want another (bigger) room and they have one they change you. And to be honest: are you in Barcelona to see the city or to stay at your hotel?? So if your not claustrophobic and don't mind a "shabby" looking exteriour this is the one for you. We will definately book it another time, but then we will book a triple room for the 2 of us, because we appreciate a little more space.

	Certainly not luxury but very cheap. Room was clean and reception staff were friendly and helpful. Window in room was so small it was pointless and the internal walls are very thin but over all this hotel is good value and has a great location.

	Centrally located hotel very close to the metro and also to tourist attractions (e.g. las Ramblas). The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. What I extremely disliked was that my room had no windows. Furthermore it was just between the elevator and the stairs so that if someone is "lucky" enough to have some drunk guests staying on the same floor it is impossible to sleep.

My second stay at Hotel Call for the Mobile World Congress. Call is good value for the money when looking at the central location. Its a very simple Hotel, the rooms are ok size but very simple, most rooms have no real windows or just openings to a small backyard, no TV, one have to search for a power outlet etc, etc but so far I managed to find at least one in the toilet or on the wall close to the ceiling. But its for the moderate price, location and clean rooms I return. I need no more.

La camera è confortevole, piccola ma pulita...minimale, ideale per chi va lì senza grandi pretese ma con la voglia di avere un posto buono per lasciare le sue cose e dormire bene. L'hotel è centrale, iper comodo da raggiungere e silenzioso. Per esempio: mi è caduto il mascara a terra rotolando sotto il letto... quando lo ho ripreso ho visto che era pulito!!! Bagno comodo, grande e con vasca chiusa in cui farsi la doccia senza lavare tutto il bagno (come succede con quelle odiose docce aperte senza piatto che si trovano troppo spesso), asciugamani puliti.

	A clean friendly 'hotel' with staff willing to help in any way they possibly can, and seem happy to do so. Be aware that there are no 'coffee making' facilities and be prepared, in this age of certain expectations. But for the price paid I was certainly satisfied.

	La verdad es que la única estrella que posee...le queda un poco grande. Las habitaciones estan algo viejas, el personal de limpieza entra en tu habitación aunque tu estes dentro y durmiendo... es casi mas un hostal que un hotel. Además está situado en una zona muy mala del barrio gótico, y da un poco de yu-yu acudir por las noches.

	Wir fanden das Hotel für den Preis wirklich sehr gut. Die Angestellten waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. It should be noted that if you arrive at the city in the middle of the night, this hotel will be *very* difficult to find. Our taxi driver had no idea where it was and just dropped us off at a nearby street, making us wonder around the dark alleys in circles, basically. The guy behind the counter couldn't speak any English, so calling them for directions was useless. But, when we did find the hotel, he was really friendly to us and we had a very pleasant stay in the end. The hotel also has free WiFi internet, which is always a big plus in my books. The location of the hotel is amazing, it turned out. During the day you have access to very very affordable bakeries, coffee shops and jewelry stores etc that are right outside. I'd definitely recommend this place! (Just bring a detailed map!!)

Excellent location- 2min from La Rambla and 3 min from metro station. (But no easy to find). During my stay at night hotel was always quite so good sleep is guaranteed. Rooms are very clean but quit small in size. This suits if you are spending hole day out and only use room at night. By the way hotel is open 24 hr. Also receptionist allows to leave luggage after sign out which is very convenient if your flight is in the eve.

	We thoroughly enjoyed Barcelona and the hotel was in a great location, clean, definitely NO FRILLS. The employee's were great with the exception of MEAN and GRUMPY OLD MAN during the night shift. Not sure why he is still employed at that hotel....I would recommend it for an inexpensive place to stay but tread lightly around the night shift GRUMP...

I booked a trip to Barcelona on my own and wanted to be quite central, but not on a busy street. This hotel more than suited my needs. It's a 1* so wasn't entirely sure what to expect and relied on comments online a lot. It's easy to find off La Ramblas, and arriving for the first time, I managed to get from the bus station via the metro to the hotel in about half an hour - if that. Clean room, very quiet (think I saw 2 other guests the whole time), maid service every day, security safe in room and I felt the hotel was secure enough not to worry about my room. The only (minor) grumble would be as per a few online reviews I read before going - the night porter can be a bit grumpy, nothing too bad, but not as nice as the guys through the day, who are very helpful. You want a cheap, clean, safe, central hotel in Barcelona? You could do a lot worse than this one.

	The only things I did not like was the size of the room we got. It was tiny! and the old guy at the reception at night. He was rude. But otherwise the place was great value for money. Great location close to the La Rambla!

	If you want a Hotel for a few nights located in the Gothic Quarter,just off La Ramblas which is secrue,cheap and clean,then try this hotel,dont expect any views as such and the walls are a bit on the thin side so for light sleepers ear plugs maybe the way to go.

	Great central location. Small room but clean. I wish they served coffee in the morning but there is a great coffee shop around the corner called Cafe Boqueria. The room needs to have a thermostat in it. The air conditioning was controlled by a timer which was not in the room.

	Hotel Staff were very pleasant and helpful.The hotel was clean and convenient only one small thing I could pick up on was the electric socket was too high on the wall to use ( near the ceiling) Will be going back.

	We had a great stay at Hotel Call. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is excellent. Rooms could do with a lick of paint but excellent value for money. Will definitely be going back.

Unfortunately the lift was being replaced or repaired the entire time we were there. The place itself was in a great location and you certainly recieve what you pay for. It´s by no means the hilton but we had a twin room with our own bathroom and safe. Overall i would recommend it to anyone who likes to have their own room but is on a budget. Beware the rotating watchmen on the door though, it can be a little jekyl and hyde. Overall a 6/10, but that had greatly to do with the noise being created by the repairs to the lift.

At first I looked at the reviews from tripadvisor on this hotel and got a bit frightened.... But when i went there, the staff can speak english, they were nice and friendly. Room was spacious and cleaned properly everyday. Although the room was basic, its got everything we need and the lighting are bright enough. It was super cheap and well worth the price. The hotel was right next to La Ramblas so its very efficient although it might not be safe if you walk around there alone at night, espeically girls. This has nothing to do with the hotel though, just the nightlife in Barcelona generally. In terms of noise control, you can hear people talking on the street in the morning, but at night its relatively quiet. I am a very deep sleeper so nothing can wake me up unless its very noisy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel and I recommanded it to you. I would love to stay here again.

I was surprised that the room did not have a window. So I had to upgrade the room for another and paid an extra 13 euros a night to have a window as I need to have it open at night. I asked for an airy room because I tend to get asthma while travelling due smoking in restaurants etc. I was able to upgrade to a suitable room but the deposit I paid in advance did not matter then. However they gave me a 5% discount on the room which was nice.

	It's basic but clean, with very friendly and helpful staff (fresh towels every day, cleaners wait until you're out before coming in). The Hotel is also in a great location just off Carrer Ferran - it's excellent value and if you work on the basis that you get what you pay for, you won't be disappointed.

Very good loction for eating and visits as it is so central. No problems with security and staff were all very polite.Only minor comment is that the room needed a fresh lick of paint. For the money you pay it is worth it don't expect 5* at the rates they charge, you get what you pay for and I would stay there or at the sister hotel ( Condal) again. Very claen and room (triple) was spacious enough. Many Thanks.

	More than excellent value for the money: the room offered exactly what we need, included private bathroom and toilet. Everything was clean and the location was more than excellent: in a very quiet street but in the middle of the heart of Barcelona. Only negative points: the room was without vieuw (and daylight) and no breakfast available in hotel. However, I recommend this hotel to everybody.

	No había casi enchufes en las habitaciones, solo uno en el baño. El aire acondicionado estaba a tope y no había ningún regulador en las habitaciones. La única ventana de mi habitación daba al hueco del ascensor. Pero en general estaba muy limpio, el trato de la gente del hotel era amable. Es céntrico y barato.
