The staff were very helpful, the room clean and basic with just a wash hand basin and shared toilet/shower facility - so it was just what I wanted in terms of affordability and location - just on the la Ramblas! I would recommend it!

My name is Ekaterina. I am Kristina's friend who stayed with her in the hostal. The hostal itself is very nice and comfortable to stay in, though it is quite simple. The room has everything you will need: big bed, wardrobe, shower tray which is quite good in case if the showers in the corridor are occupied. The room with view to Rambla and Placa Catalynia is wonderful. You can sit on the balcony observing the main part of the city. The abscense of reception does not make any prblems as you are awaited by some person before your arrival. You pay on your arrival day and when you check out, you just keep the key on the table and leave the door open. The only thing that could have been improved is Internet. I stayed in this hostal for periods of 3 and 1 days during two weeks and there was no Internet, though it was promised to arrange the IT manager to come. As a request for future, I think the guests of the hostal will appreciate it very much, if the person who meets them and receives the money would have the money for change. Very satisfied. Not advised for children or elderly, as there are many stairs to be climbed and a very active environment due to the ramblas street itself. On the whole we had to share bahrooms but the flat itself has two bathrooms and a computer with internet. We do plan to return to the hostel in the future.

First of all we enjoyed our stay in this Hostel very much! It is located perfectly in the center of the city from where you can explore the city easily by foot. The Staff was very kind and eventhough the hostel is a little run down (some loose or broken tiles on the floor for example) and partly unclean we liked it. Sleeping with an open window wasn't too loud.

Room was fine; definitely difficult to find. Asked 15 people on the street and no one knew. Finally found it but not marked at all. A sign on the door would be helpful. Wi-fi was difficult to set up but finally figured it out. Overall, clean, functional and a fantastic location. I'd recommend it for young people.

Nice and friendly basic place to stay. But ask for a room AWAY from the Rambla - those have a great view but are extremely noiseful.

Very good value - despite the 101 steps to get to the Hostal floor. Amazingly quiet, yet as central as it comes!

I really enjoyed my stay at City Ramblas.The location si great, right in the center of the town.Great view from the balcony.The staff is very friendly(thanks to Juan for the introduction),the rooms and the bathrooms are cleaned up every day.It's perfect for young people that want to visit the town and to have fun as well.I recommanded this place to all my friends who wanted to visit Barcelona and when i'll come back to BCN i will stay here.

Me gustó mucho! Muy recomendable, la ubicación increíble, la vista preciosa, pero eso también tiene sus contras, pues un balcón el La Rambla es.. simplemente ruidosa.. y más en verano. De todas maneras, lo disfrutamos mucho, todo super limpio, la atención del personal estupenda, nos orientaron y nos recomendaron lugares para visitar en la ciudad. Estamos super contentos y seguramente reservaría de nuevo aquí. Eso sí, es para jóvenes, porque tienes que subir 99 escalones!!! Recomendable

El hotel es realmente muy lindo, limpio y prolijo. Aunque las habitaciones son con ventana a un patio cerrado y realmente faltaba el aire. Un ventilador hubiera sido bueno.

The hostel was clean and basic, you get what you pay for! but i was happy with that, the only 2 things i found fault with was the 5 flight of stairs to get to the hostel and that there was no help desk to book trips or ask things about Barcelona. Brilliant location!

Simple, clean hostel. Very good location! Only the 102 stairs up every day were tiring. Free internet acces was very useful. Shower and toilets were clean.

This hostel is well priced, little and cosy. It is very clean and the sights are wonderfull. The only problem you can find is that it is situated in a fifth floor and has no elevator. Anyway, I fully recomend this place.

El hostal estaba limpio y en una zona privilegiada Solo tuvimos un problema, nos cambiaron el tipo de habitacion sin avisarnos con antelacion, de una doble a dos individuales

Io e la mia amica ci siamo trovate benissimo. Abbiamo trovato le cose fondamentali: un letto, una doccia e la libertà di entrare ed uscire come e quando desideravamo. Una buona cosa anche le scale perchè fa bene un pò di ginnastica anche in vacanza!
