Hi Sandorne! Thanks a lot for your helpful comments. We are working to put a double door in most part of the rooms (I think they will be ready at the end of this year), that will help with the noise. The walls and ceiling have some sound insulation (not 100%, but for the problem you repport is enough) and last year we changed all the windows (super-undsoundproofed), so the problem are the doors... De todos modos, para evitar la entrada de rtuido del pasillo durante el día, vamos a añadir a las ventanas y techos insonorizados ya instalados, doble puerta en la mayoría de las habitaciones este año (2010). Hi! First of all, tell you that ALL the rooms of our hostel have a window that can be opened and closed. Probably you got a room that face to an internal courtyard (very typical in the urban places of Spain). Next time, please put in your booking that you prefer a room facing to the street and we will try to give you one of them. About the cleaning, just tell you that we clean all the rooms every day. Maybe we didn´t change the towels some day because you didn´t left them on the floor (as you could see in a sign on the bed when you arrived) or we made some mistake. In the last case, excuse us for that and please, next time don´t hesitate to tell us something and we will change them if we forgot it. Hope to see you a next time. Best regards! There are more than 400 liters of hot water, so it never finishes, the problem was that one of the machines turned off we don´t know why and the problem was fixed the day of your check-out when other guests reported it. Ante todo, gracias por tener en cuenta nuestro esfuerzo en mantener una excelente relación calidad-precio. Respecto a la lavandería, decirte que hace unos días externalizamos toda la lavandería del hostal, con lo que en una próxima visita no deberías tener este problema, ya que solo lavaremos colchas y cortinas internamente. La lavandería funcionará -como siempre- solamente desde las 10h. de la manaña. En una próxima ocasión, indícanoslo en la reserva o -si ya estás alojado- no dudes en consultarnos si es posible cambiar a otra habitación, generalmente es muy dificil en este hostal porque está casi siempre lleno, pero podríamos haberlo intentado. ¡Hasta la próxima! Ante todo, agradecerte que apreciaras el cambio de habitación cuando lo solicitaste y tu puntuación de 8 sobre 10. La habitación en la que dormiáis es una de las más apreciadas en el hostal (es una triple de 18 metros cuadrados y vosotros eráis 2 personas), sí sabemos que las ventanas dejan pasar un poco de ruido, pero debes saber que el 20 de Setiembre ponemos "superventanas" insonorizadas en las habitaciones de este lado del hostal. Sobre que no hay personal en el hostal, para la próxima vez, mira por los tres pasillos del hostal, ya que hay personal un promedio de 14 horas al día, pero puede estar limpiando, atendiendo a otro cliente o solucionando un problema. Hi! I´m sorry, but I don´t speak French. We are a little hostel in a 1900 building in the city centre (the most expendive streets to live in Barcelona), so some rooms give to the typical Barcelona´s "patios". For another hand, as you could see in the room (the message is also in French) and we tell always during the check-in, we change the towels when you leave them on the floor, it doesn´t matter if we have to change them every day. First of all, excuse us for the little delay in the answer (we opened a new hotel -BARCELONA CITY HOTEL- the 1st of April, the same date you checked-in last time in our hostel! We have been a little stressed). I think it was not the first time you stayed in our place last April, so I appreciate to think in us for your stayings in Barcelona. About your comments, We are absolutelly sure that we are not the best place to stay in Barcelona! But we try to give a good value for money and, as you have seen, we try always to improve.
