comments We throughly enjoyed our stay at Lochgreen, and with it being our visit with only a recommendation, it exceeded any expectatiion we had! Lovely friendly staff, tasteful decor, relaxing ambience, and food to blow away your tastebuds! We shall definately be back.

comments My wife and I had stayed at the Lochgreenhouse previously and thought the hotel and staff were exceedingly well presented, so without hesitation decided to take advantage of the special offer available. The room itself was large, very clean and tastefully furnished, but I thought becoming a little tired and could do with a little attention. The dining experience is greatly recommended, the food is sumptuous and very pleasurable. We mixed and matched the accompaniments on our mains and this was done without hesitate, which is exactly what a diner expects. My only little niggle was the wine I select was very poor and at no point was I asked if the wine choice was sufficient. I thought it didn’t match my meal choice and would have selected an alternative bottle if asked. Breakfast was more than adequate to satisfy the needs of any diner, so can’t pass too many comments. All in All I would return again and would most definitely recommend pushing the boat out for a most rewarding experience.

comments We arrived after a viewing of a yacht at Largs and the euphoria we were experiencing was only increased by the welcoming staff and attention to detail. What a very nice place to stay. We had a wonderful meal in the evening and again the staff were exceptional.

comments My Daughter was married in this wonderful Hotel in June.This stay was a present from my son and his wife.They kindly thought that we would enjoy our stay even more,when we did not have the nerves of the Wedding.We were not disappointed.I really do not know where to begin in praise of Lochgreen and all their staff.From start to finish it was pure enjoyment.The staff are so kind and polite,nothing is any trouble to them.The Hotel is so luxurious,beautiful rooms wonderful bathrooms.The food was really outstandingly excellent,I was wishing it would never end.I could go on and on in praise of Lochgreen.If you are considering a wedding dont hold back.Our Daughters was outstanding and all our friends were so enthusiastic.Many have returned to Lochgreen to spend more time in luxury. A special Thank You to Craig.He was our M.C. and indeed a great asset to Lochgreen.

comments Our room, service and dinner were all excellent. The hotel and its grounds are superb. Whilst the cost is expensive in relative terms the standard of the hotel meets the expectatons and beyond. We will stay in the Lochgreen again but we would look for any special offers

comments Overall excellent with very attentive service. Only minor concern was at breakfast as honey was not available and on one day the choice was limited to apricot jam. Also soft boiled eggs arrived hard boiled. Dinners were really good and the ambience/informal atmosphere makes one feel really welcome.

comments A wonderful hotel. Everybody from the receptionists to the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful, and we were impressed by the cleanliness. Every mirror , glass shower door etc were sparkling, not only in the room but throughout the hotel. Food was also excellent. Overall, top marks!

Our daughter was married there last year and we had such a wonderful time whilst staying there that we were so looking forward to celebrating our own Ruby Wedding there this year and it didn't disappoint. comments THE STAFF WERE ON THE WHOLE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. THE ROOMS IN THE ANNEX ARE EXCELLENT. BREAKFASTS WERE SATISFACTORY BUT THE AMBIENCE IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS RATHER SPOILT BY THE BACKGROUND NOISE OF THE TELEVISION WHICH SEEMED AN UNNECESSARY INTRUSION.
