	We had a very enjoyable stay .This was our first visit and we will be back again. the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. The receptionist was exceptional nothing was a bother. We had a lovely room looking out to the sea and our meals were very good. We had no complaints what so ever. Cant wait to go back.

	Booked this for myself and my partner's wee birthday treat overnight stay. We were not disappointed, it was a fabulously luxurious stay. The Chef cooked the meals exquisitely. The hotel is beautiful and very tastfully done. Great value for money. Definitely looking forward to coming back again in the very near future.

	Excellent hotel, staff were very helpful. Breakfast was of the highest quality. If we return to Ayr then Fairfiled House Hotel would be our first choice.

	This is the fourth hotel I have stayed at in the area in the last two months whilst working up at Prestwick and by far the best. The facilities and staff were excellent but best of all was the well priced delicious food. Will be making this hotel my first choice in future.

We had a great visit to Fairfield House. The hotel was very well maintained. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom was in excellent condition and extremely clean (with great water pressure in the shower!). Leisure facilities were excellent. The staff at Fairfield House were welcoming and went the extra mile to help us out when we needed assistance (including letting us print football tickets on the front desk computer). Overall, you have an excellent hotel that the online photos do not do justice to. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely return to Fairfield House.

	My wife, our friends and myself all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and dinner at the Fairfield. The very tasteful decor and modern well maintained rooms led me to ask on checkout, was the hotel refurbed this year, only to be told it was a wee while back. But you still feel like it was done yesterday. Well done to the mangement. Highly recommend this lovely hotel and well worth the rates

	One night for a wedding in the area. Beautiful Hotel in a Beatiful Location. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only two comments were the rooms were very warm even with the windows open and the tables at breakfast were very close together. Otherwise a good stay.

	As usual, an excellent stay. The radiators in the room, however, didn't seem to turn off, making the room extremely warm.

Check in was quick and efficient with directions given to room. It took a little while to establish that we had the correct room as a number and room name was on the key but only a room name on the door. The room was clean and very spacious. The TV was very small relative to the room size (maybe 21ins?) and wasn't easy to see when in bed as it was below the level of the bed. The bed was rather small being a standard double bed., not really what you expect now a days. We had a front facing room which, as it was a typical Scottish Winters evening, was a bit noisy with wind noise from the window areas. Breakfast was very good with good service. Lunch was also excellent. Overall this was a nice hotel which lets its self down a bit in my opinion with the points made about the room.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had a beautiful room (one of the rooms with a sea view). We were pleasantly surprised at the choice for breakfast - the fish we had was delicious. We also thought the staff were great. Every person I spoke to, from the receptionist to the woman on duty at the pool, was exceptionally pleasant. The only minor issues came about as a result of a wedding party in the hotel that weekend. We had chosen the hotel as we wanted to eat in the restaurant, but it was only after booking that we were told that the only tables available were before 5.30 or after 9.30. We were also disappointed that the bar was closed to residents that night because of the wedding. However, on the positive side, staff recommended a fantastic restauant in Troon and, when we came back from there, were also happy to arrange for us to have a nightcap in the reception.

Only downside was the bed. It was far too soft and offered no support at all. Wife and I kept rolling into the middle of the bed and given that she has a bad back didn't sleep well at all. This was the only negative in an otherwise fantastic hotel experience. We would definitely love to come back but the bed would maybe put us off. If the beds were a bit more supportive would def book again. Reception and breakfasting staff made us very welcome and are a credit to the hotel. Thanks again!

We have stayed at this hotel before and were extremely happy with the overall experience. This time the food was absolutely fabulous as before but the hotel was not sufficiently staffed for the number of guests on the night. There was a large party who were given first priority, and my opinion is that the other guests should have been given a preferential rate to allow for the substantial delay in service. The experience this time at the hotel was marred by the quality of service.

Fairfield House hotel is an excellent well run hotel. The leisure facilities were very good and the room was very well presented, spacious and comfortable. We were luck enough to have fantatstic weather and were therefore able to make use of the deck area outside the bar which has great views over to Aarran. Very pleasent while having a nice gin and tonis before dinner. The dining room and conservatory are very well appointed and the staff very attentive. Excellent food complimented by a very good wine list. I'll be back for future visits!!

	The staff were friendly and knew their jobs (especially the jolly Nightporter), the room was clean and filled the bill, breakfast was good, but somehow the finishing touches that I expect at the price paid just were not there. Television set was outdated and the toiletries provided were maybe green but looked and performed poorly. Pass marks, but only just!

	The hotel is in a good position close to the beach,and the room was ready on arrival.Downstairs,the bar area and restaurant are decorated tastefully,and the staff helpful and friendly.The only criticism we had was the decor of our room,it was clean the bed comfortable,but despite being refurbished recently it was flowery and old fashioned.

	Excellent stay. The room was far and beyond my expectations with lovely, warm feel with a great bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant (a conservatory type part of the building) which provides a beautiful view of the sea and sunset.

	doors banging outside our bedroom door woke us up several times during the night,mostly coridor doors very disturbed sleep, but on the positive side clean room,comfy bed,good room service,nice food, bathroom very nice,clean,loved the jaquzzi bath,and brekfast was nice,and all staff very friendly,i would defenitly reccommend the hotel and would like to stay again in the future.

	Loved our stay at your hotel. Food was out this world. The only critism i found was the pool area was a bit dated and could do with a being updated and made a bit more safe. Walking from the pool to the sauna etc no slip mats which meant you could easily fall and hurt yourself on the floor.

	Our stay at Fairfield House Hotel was wonderful. We arrived early in the morning from the USA and we were offered a room for changing and shower right away, until our reserved room was ready. 	The Fairfield House was a lovely hotel with a great location. Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good with an excellent choice. The only complaint we would have was that there were a few rooms being renovated on our floor, which meant being woken up with the noice each morning! When you away for a relaxing couple of days that is the last thing you want.

	My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Fairfield Hotel. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Nice food from a good menu while watching the sun setting. From the manager to the night porter all staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpfull.

	we enjoyed our stay and our room was large and comfortable, the only thing we were not satisfied with was the noise from what sounded like a generator which we think was coming from the roof space just outside our room (no 11). As it was a very warm night on 22 May we had to leave the window open and this noise was constant during the night. Hope this feedback helps.

All the staff my wife and I met were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. However, the facilities in Room 36 were not up to the standard I would have expected form a 4-star hotel, in that there appeared to be only one power socket for three appliances. One could either watch the television or make a hot drink or use the trouser press! To plug in any one of these appliances meant either scrambling underneath the table or pulling the table away from the wall. Surely one should be able to use all three at the same time and without scrambling about on the floor. Also, the carpet in front of the wardrobe was damaged, detracting from the appearance of the room.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay,the room was of a very high standard, the two dinners we had were excellent with first class service . Only negative point was breakfast on the Saturday what was left was not warm , and on the Sunday there was no bacon ,eggs , mushrooms,fruit ,rolls, tea and toast was a long wait even to be asked, and it took time to find anyone who seemed capable of getting a response ,this was only 9.20 am Everything else is in keeping with a very good 4 star hotel , the breakfast and service was not.

Extremely pleased with my choice of hotel. The staff were very friendly on our arrival and throughout our 2 day stay. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was a delight. The menu choice at breakfast and dinner was tremendous - certainly any diet can be forgotten during your stay! 	Been to the Fairfield before several years ago, before the new restaurant/bar work. The staff are very friendly and the rooms all have great character. We preferred the old bar as it was more inviting, but the new one is not bad - it's just very modern. Would definitely go back again. It was a lovely relaxing stay with amazing food.

	NIce bar area, and excellent food, with a view of the Isle of Arran - Big room, and huge bathroom, but the wardrobe door kept falliing open which was irritating. Overall, a decent hotel.

	Well situated,the hotel is a good place to stay, with a friendly welcome. The only thing not complimentary I have to say is that on one of the two nights we had dinner there, the grill must not have been cleaned for some time as it left a charred taste to even the rare steak... Pity!! So you just have to hope for the right cook, I guess..

	I loved my stay in this hotel. The room was comfortable, the food fantastic, the service was wonderful. My only problem was the huge number of fire-doors one had to pass through. I would stay there again without hesitation.

	The hotel staff and food were excellent. The room was clean and sleek. The heat is controlled for the entire hotel, it was hot in the room, but the staff couldn't change our room temperature. This was the only downfall, everything else was pleasant.

	The food was very much better than expected, and than it was last time. Dissapointed in the suite which only had one daylight source - a door to an alleyway, and it had no views of nearby sea. Staff helpful and friendly.

	Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice and the room especially so, only we couldn't close the window properly - and it was gale force with lashing rain outside. Also, no soap at the sink. Apart from that, our stay was very enjoyable and dinner in the restaurant very good.

	The hotel was very attractive and clean. Excellent situation on the front and near centre of Ayr. Room (Carnegie suite)was fantastic. Only negative comment would be a bit noisy with kitchen noise and door banging into leisure suite, though this didnt go on too long.

this is the 3rd time we have stayed at the hotel and the secnd time I have been contacted and asked b management to change rooms asit appeared that the main suite had been double booked. This time I wasassured that I would still be looked after even although I had declined the offer of free champ& choco. I was not lookrd after very well. The bin had not been cleaned and there were hairs in the jacuzzi but no apology !!!

	We had stayed here for a weekend about 15 months ago and despite terrible weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. We were worried that going back might be a disappointment but in gloriously sunny weather, it was even better than before. 	The Fairfield Hotel was a great venue for a romantic weekend away. Following a few previous disasters my partner and I were ready to start a list of faults but could find only positive things to say. The location was great, the staff were professional and friendly the room was large and comfortable. We also ate dinner at the hotel and found the whole evening an absolute pleasure.

	Room faced onto courtyard plant area with associated noise issues. Further issues with returning to the hotel at night with no night porter present involving a 15 minute wait outside for front door to be opened. Other than the above hotel was quite pleasant.

	Hotel has become a favourite for my partner and I. We live around an hour away and regularly are delighted to stay at the FHH. Excellent service at the hotel, we arrived early and they went out of their way to have the room made up so we could offload our luggage - no extra charge unlike other hotels. Food in the hotel was of a high standard - chef was very accommodating in providing us with a late lunch. Good choice of breakfast items and cooked breakfast was the freshest and cooked to order. Would definately stay there again and would recommend it to others.

	Our room was upgraded free of charge on arrival. Both the room and bathroom were enormous. Furniture was a bit worn but this only added to the charm of the room. The staff were terrific - especially at reception and the night porter was a lovely cheeky chappy. My husband and I had a lovely weekend stay here and I would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a relaxing break.

	I requested a double room with a Sea View if possible (even though we only paid the normal room rate). When we arrived we had been put into the Blenheim Suite, which was fantastic with a huge bed and luxurious fittings and bathroom - and with a sea view. The meals were wonderful and the spa just topped it off. We would definitely stay there again.
