The weather in the Picos de Europa is unpredictable, with many rainy days which make walking impossible. Given this, the hotel should provide some form of facilities for guests who are trapped inside by the rain, such as a games room. But there is absolutely nothing. Moreover, the general level of comfort and facilities are not worth the price. |

A very clean and pleasant hotel in stunning mountain scenery. Three of us on motorcycles and were very welcome. |

An excellent location in that it was at the throat of the Cares gorge, someyhing we found out on arrival - it should have been on the website! The bad point is that they 'forgot' that we'd paid the deposit online when they prepared the bill. Fortunately I'd taken a copy of the bookassist printout. There's a decent though basic restaurant next door. Go there for breakfast - it's better taste and value. An excellent starting point for many walks. |
