We had a great night with a live band and felt very welcome. Our room was very comfortable had brilliant views up the Loch.

The bedrooms are very tastefully decorated - the thick pile carpet is just bliss!
The new restaurant extension has wonderful views over the loch and to the neighbouring island. The food was very good and the service highly competent. Would heartily recommend the Galley.

We really enjoyed ur stay at The Galley of Lorne and particularly enjoyed the restaurant and the food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable 2 days.

The Galley Of Lorne lived up to expectations and proved to be excellent value for money. Andrew and Sarah have done an excellent job here and the addition of decking will enhance the fabulous views. The rooms are very nice and the Highlander breakfast is to die for! The bar is terrific and has a friendly atmosphere and the locally produced Fyne ales are excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone and can't wait to return!

The refurbished room was lovely. Bathroom with corner bath excellent and great views from bedroom. Was surprised that hotel had put carpet in the bathroom. Food was good but service from kitchen at dinner a little slow.

helpful and pleasant hosts, room was cold on arrival but quickly rectified once they were informed. Food was good quality and value, enjoyed our short stay and certainly intend to visit again in the spring for a longer stay.
