Location:
Calafate International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional El Calafate) was inaugurated on 17th November, 2000. There are direct flights from Buenos Aires, Trelew, Bariloche, Puerto Natales, and etc.

How to get there:
By Plane: Regular flights to 'El Calafate International Airport'. Buses or taxis to El Calafate city are available. (Distance to El Calafate: 17 Km.).

By Bus: From Rio Gallegos (4 hours). From Chile to Puerto Natales (5 hours ride).

By Car: From Rio Gallegos take the Provincial Route No.5, then take the National Route No.40 and Provincial Route No. 11. Total distance: 320 Km.

The main routes to go to Santa Cruz are:
From Buenos Aires: National Route N°3, following the seaside of Mar Argentino, passing by Bahia Blanca, Trelew o Comodoro Rivadavia cities.

You will get to Comandante Luis Piedra Buena, in Santa Cruz, you can choose to take the National Route N°288 (grave), which crosses the desert of patagonian up to the National Route N° 40 (grave).

From there on, follow the North-South direction towards Lago Argentino and finally take the Provincial Route N° 11, that ends at the National Park after crossing El Calafate.
