Parador del Angel is a rural lodge, situated in Chacras de Coria. Built in 1907, around an old adobe large house which formerly was the compound of one of the farms in the area. The house was restored keeping the original architectonical lines, respecting the wide walls of adobe, high roofs, strong labored poplar wooden beams and poplar woodwork with shutters.

All the rooms have excellent views. The place is ideal for relaxing. Parador del Angel is run by the owners, Maria Marta Cortes and Daniel Alessio, with 15 years of experience in the hospitality market. Maria & Daniel offer their experience and service for people who want to get to know the well-known Aconcagua Mountain.

Daniel Alessio Expediciones is a well-known company for climbers of the highest of America's peaks, Aconcagua, 6,962 meters above sea level.

Parador del Angel is an Smoke Free Zone; guests are not allowed to smoke inside the building (dining room, living room, rooms) but are permitted to smoke in the gardens.

Parador del Angel does not welcome children under 12 years old.

Chacras de Coria has become an attractive place to rest, preferred by those who are looking for a quiet and cozy place to spend their holidays. This town offers easy access to the most important wine cellars and towards the high mountain route.

Local Attractions:

• Rancho Cuero: visit a wonderful cattle ranch situated in the Andes Mountain Range, attended by its owners, Ricardo and Analicia.
• Vine-yards: there are almost 10, 000 hectares of Malbec Vineyards along the Argentinean territory. The wines produced in the departments of Lujan de Cuyo, Agrelo, and San Rafael, Mendoza make the most of this variety.
• Sport Fishing: The rivers, streams, reservoirs and lagoons of this region are ideal for fishing, mainly salmon and pejerrey.
• Skiing: The country's northernmost winter sport centers are located here. Las Lenas ski resort has 24 slopes totaling 63 Km for Alpine, Nordic and extreme skiing. Its' base lies 2,256 m above sea level and its' maximum height is 3,430 m. Ski-lifts are very close to the hotels and the snow is of the best quality; powdery, dry and compact. Other ski paradises are Penitentes and Vallecitos.
