Location:
The Estancia La Quinta is located in the heart of the Southern Patagonian Andes, at the foot of the mystic Fitz Roy Mountain, where El Chalten is situated.

This is a small touristic town located on the North extreme of Los Glaciares National Park. This unique landscape combines the magic of the glaciers, hidden lagoons, Lake Viedma (Lago Viedma), with the presence of Fitz Roy Mountain.

El Chalten is situated next to Lake Viedma (Lago Viedma) and has been declared the National Hiking Capital thanks to the wide options for climbers and hikers. It is not necessary to be an expert to follow the circuits if you walk on a proper trail.

How to get there:

• By Plane: The nearest airport is El Calafate International Airport. El Chalten is located 215 km from there. There are daily and direct flights from Buenos Aires to El Calafate.
• By Car:
  • Take the National Route 3 along the Atlantic coast.
  • Take the National Route N° 40 parallel to the Andes.

From Buenos Aires Take the national route 3: you will pass by Rivadavia and Caleta Olivia cities, (among others) to Coronel Luis Piedra Buena in Santa Cruz. Once there, take the Provincial Route Nº 288.
