ChePatagonia Hostel is located in the heart of Puerto Madryn and is the only hostel with sea views. During the whale season you will be able to watch them from your room! The Hostel is situated 20 meters from the beach.

ChePatagonia Hostel has two floors, all the rooms are non smoking and on the first floor you will find the library.

• North Point(Punta Norte): there is an important population of sea lions in Summer. Possible sighting of orci (killer whales) specially during high tide.
• Valdes Peninsula: is a Natural Heritage, shaped like an ax, its the home to the southern Elephant Seal, Sea Lion, and right Whale.
• Whale Watching, activity available from June to December only. The first whales arrive in April to the Golfo Nuevo and Golfo San Jose to mate, and by June or July you will find hundred of them.
• Low Valley of the Chubut River, you can enjoy the Commerson's dolphins and explore the port.
• Punta Tombo is the largest colony of Magellanic Penguins in the world, with more than 300,000 penguins. You will be able to listen as they call out to their mate, observe them brooding on their nest, foraging for food or feeding their chicks.

How to get there:
From Buenos Aires:

• By Car: Take the National route number 3, drive through Bahia Blanca, Carmen de Patagones, Viedma, San Antonio Oeste, Las Grutas, Sierra Grande, and you will arrive into Puerto Madryn.

• By Bus: There are many Bus companies that travel to Puerto Madryn such as Andesmar, Via Tac, Don Otto and more.

• if you choose to fly, you will arrive at Trelew.
