I had a totally lovely time and thought the entire Hotel, ambiance and experience to be truly fantastic. Was certainly one of the most charming places I have ever stayed :-)

overall a very pleasant stay. staff were very friendly. our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed - as well as this the dark shutters made for a great night sleep! the house its self is stunning with equally beautiful surroundings! and the food was absolutely delicious! would we stay again? would we recommend it? definitely to both! thank you!

Having stayed at the Raemoir for two separate weekends last year and thoroughly enjoyed both the accommodation and the meals, we decided to have a family treat (6 people) last weekend. Whilst we were still very pleased with the rooms, we were generally disappointed with the dinner in comparison to our previous visits. Breakfast was also a letdown, as we had been really looking forward to choices on the menu only to find that it was a 'Scottish breakfast' or nothing and this was less than appetising.

Stay usually for business, occasionally I'm able to take my wife who says its her favourite hotel. Never been disappointed - another excellent stay.

Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, I had a very early departure time, and there were no facilities for an early checkout.
But a minor niggle in an otherwise very nice stay

Thank you for your comments which we encourage, positive or negative. As the hotel is staffed 24hrs we would have easily been able to provide an early departure facility, albeit it with some limitations (cooked breakfast for example) so I can only apologise for not making you aware of this at the time.

We thought the rooms were of good size but we thought the finishings and little touches to the rooms that would differentiate the hotel were missing. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfasts were fantastic

Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and we were very impressed with our large, well-equippped, yet characterful room. The only downside was the appaling weather that curtailed our planned exploration of the grounds. We would both have no qualms in recommending Raemoir House to friends and colleagues.

The hotel is under new management who are now in progress of giving the hotel some overdue TLC.
We were greeted on arrival by the manager and made to feel extremely welcome..Our room was comfortable,spacious,clean and in complete character with the beautiful buildings and grounds.During our stay we had a most wonderful Lunch,Dinner and Breakfast.The management,reception and all staff were so polite and helpful.Our stay was without doubt memorable and we will without doubt return to enjoy the Raemoir once again.

You probably will not want to publish this review because, although the surroundings and the cuisine were as excellent as ever, the overall standard of service was not. Staff were perfectly pleasant but not as attentive as in the piping days of Peggy Jordan, the Sabins and since. That is a shame because although individually they were nice people, the staff were almost invariably 'not there' when one needed them.
My wife and I will come back. After all, we have been doing so regularly since the 1960s!

Beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere and fabulous food. Customer service good but room for improvement. I enjoyed my stay very much and hope to return in the future. Lovely big bed, airy room and HUGE bath.
